McCoy: We're going to beat Denver on Thursday night - Mile High Report

Cockiness abounds in San Diego (Which is German for "Whales Vagina")
A win keeps the Chargers in the playoff hunt. A loss brings them to the brink of elimination. I don't read into this too much. They have a lot to gain by winning. The Broncos have a lot at stake, too. The Chargers are a capable team but they are inconsistent.
I can see this one devolving into a shootout, with the Broncos pulling away late. What I would really like to see is the Broncos defense not allow a lot of scoring. The Chargers are inconsistent, but they can be downright explosive on offense. They can crack 30 on our defense easily. They are just as likely to step on their own cranks and struggle to make 10 points. This is a good test for our defense. Rivers is having a great year and Matthews is emerging as a legitimate ball carrier.
Offensively the Broncos need to take care of the ball. Don't turn it over and they will be fine. I am really excited to see all the production they are getting on the ground and in the deep game, and would like to see them keep that up.
Yeah again not sure what you expect a head coach to say..."Yeah we expect to lose this week but if we are competitive then it is a moral victory for our team." Don't think I have ever heard a coach in the NFL talk like that.
Yeah, San Diego's a bad team and shouldn't win. I'll be rooting for them though.

Well, unless you're Romeo Crennel or Herm Edwards![]()
That's below the belt...![]()
