Maybe he will never develop further, but surely it's too early to give up on him.

Throw in the Raider fans across the Bay who are glad to see Kaep get all the dirt being thrown at him. It was all Hollywood in the offseason for Kaepernick. Then when this season came along and they started losing games he acted and continues to act like a spoiled little boy at the podium.

We're merciless on him here in the Bay. Throw in the resurgence of 3-4 year long bandwagon Ninerfans who hail Kaepernick's short run success, and they're ripe for the picking. Us Raiderfans know our team is always a long term plan away so it's nothing new. And furthermore now that the book is out on Kaep and it's clear he's struggling, it's open season on him and the Niners.

We didn't trade away Smith for Kaepernick, they were both on our team dip shit. We traded away Alex because we needed the money to sign other players and kaepernick clearly proved he could do things Smith couldn't do last year. Personaly I have nothing against Smith, I think he is a good QB, but he isn't special and he never will be. Kaepernick last year in particular was definitely special, and has had his moments this year even with all his struggles.

You can act like Smith, who I am sure you spent a considerable amount of time pretending was garbage before kapernick arrived, was some great loss, but it wasn't. Before harbaugh got here he was nothing. Harbaugh created Alex Smith and knew his potential which is less than Kaepernicks.
