Maybe a shutdown CB would allow these safeties to play the ball and do their job more effectively.

Personally, I don't think we have the LBs (a healthy Levy excluded) that are able to cover even the middle of the field on short crosses and quick slants so there's another area of concern.

Getting off blocks, jamming WRs, tackling, ball recognition, reading the QB....lots of areas of improvement.

Running is good. They are not great against the run. Too early to abandon the run game.

Agreed.....We need to go mostly Defense in next years draft or a FA acqusition......to help the CB and LB core......Toss in a Center and WR and were getting pretty close.
