Does anybody expect him to return consistently to the starting lineup without needing 384 other DBs injured first? He seems to have been tackling better.

Hey...at least he's being dressed now? Can't say the same for Thompson :L

I won't be surprised if he returns to the lineup at some point. he has been tackling much better and is better in coverage than Reed. It won't be this week, tho. stopping Peterson is our first priority this week and Reed is better playing in the box.

he may get another shot maybe this year or maybe next . i am not disappointed in him . i think we as fans (myself ) included , asked too much too soon from him

if he plays like he did vs the broncos he can be an effective starter but that takes time

time we should invest in him

I know this was about Rambo, but if you look back over the last four years, Peterson has NEVER gotten 100 yards rushing against the Skins and has only scored 1 TD in that span. Even if you throw out the game where his knee got trashed, he averages 13 carries for 48 yards and .3 TDs.

Not too overly worried.

I am. I actually saw those stats and was pretty impressed. But I always worry about playing a game dominator like Peterson. The good news is even if he has a good game (which for him is 150 yds and 2 TDs), they still have a very weak passing game. So, in theory, we should still be able to dominate them. But as I said in another thread, these trap games seem to always bite us in the ass. Ponder will have the game of his career.

That's what I worry about.

True, we've had our share of trap games biting us in the ass in the past.

Way I look at it, this team has a great opportunity to show consistency on the field against an opponent who has basically one weapon. If we can't get this win, I won't be chalking it up to a "trap game", I'll be chalking it up to a total FAIL. Unacceptable. Time to prove to everyone what this team is capable of, on the field.

Rambo had some snaps this past game, even with Merriweather and Doughty back, so it looks like they are finding he adds to the game. I think he had the same number of snaps that Doughty did. Looks like they have Biggers ahead of both of them in terms of value, in this moment of time. And with Biggers interception this past week, they will probably continue to use him that way.

Rambo continues to develop, and I'm sure we will see him more down the stretch. I like that he's coming along and didn't have his confidence broken by being benched and that's all to the good.

I think it would be better for Rambo to get some playing time without having to be the man. Let him grow into the position.
