With that in mind, what do you think would be a trade that makes sense for both teams?

Mine? Greg Jennings to New England for a 3rd round pick, or even a 2nd...and the Pats should pay it...

Never happen. We needs those picks to take Rutgers DB that should go in the 7th rd...or a LB that was suppose to go in the 4th.

So you're saying it makes too much sense?

Jennings is wasting his time in Minnesota and the Patriots need a reliable WR...got it

I am enjoying San Fran's 7th round DB from Rutgers quite a bit right now...

Actually there are a few that were drafted this yr I think. KC has one also right?? I really wanted them to take Reid, that was a hell of a pick!! Kid is going to be legit.

Well here is my thought. If NE wanted Jennings they could of had him. Now to get him, they have to trade a pick and pay him. They could have paid him when he was a FA. Now they will have to pay him what they were not willing to give him and lose an early rd pick. Makes no sense to me....IF NE makes a move it has to be for a DT or S, IMO.

MN needs picks, they need to start over. I don't ever think about trades, because it's largely a waste of time. They never happen in the NFL, or rarely anyway. But this one does make sense. MN defense is full of holes, their offense is a one man show being run by 3 totally incompetent qb's. They could have AJ, CJ, and Jennings and still be a one trick pony on offense.

I think for the Broncos the rumor going around and it is one that makes sense for the right price is Jared Allen to the Broncos for a 3rd or 4th round pick. Only problem would be his contract of they would need to figure out how to organize his deal a little better and not sure since I think his contract runs out after this year that giving up a midround pick would make sense so again it comes down to his contract and how much Minnesota would want.

I have a lot of respect for Jared Allen, but he is NOT a player I would be trading for anymore. Maybe it's just a result of being on a bad team, but he doesn't seem like the same player as before. Shows some stuff at times, but mostly is unnoticed in the game, which is bad if you're a Defensive lineman, but good if you're on the offensive line.

Thought the same about SP95 prior to this season, and the dude has done nothing but impress me.

It is hard for Jared Allen to show off too much of his talent when his team falls behind very quickly and his greatest asset as a pass rusher cannot be used. My guess is if he was on a team that played with a lead he would at least be an above average pass rusher. I agree age has taken some of his talent away but he is coming off a year where he had 12 last year so he still has some fuel in the tank. Plus nothing lights a fire under a veteran quite like going to an actual team competing for the playoffs and possibly a Superbowl.

If I were the patriots, lions, cowboys or saints I'd be offering a #1 pick for Gordon or fitz.

I wouldn't give up a seventh for Gordon. I'd do a first plus for fitz.

Seattle's phones should be flying off the hooks searching for some O-line depth after that disaster of a performance tonight. Okung and Giacomini need to get back quickly.
