We had a team that could easily have won this game.

It's the coaches. It hasn't always been their fault but it was vs UCLA and it sure as fuck was today.

We should be undefeated right now. I have zero fucking doubt about it.

I think it's been the coaches pretty much all along. I got smiirked at when I suggested after the Wyoming game we might end up 6-6 this year. yet, Minn. took Wyomings game plan and did them one better...they won.

An interesting comment from the B1G commentators during the game in effect they said the Miinesota pllayers had taken on the "personality" of its coaches.....it showed. I think that's held true for all of Bo's tenure as well. And it too shows.

If Bo hasn't already lost control of his team, then NW is going to be a must win. If that doesn't happen, he's gone--probably at the end of the season unless someone can talk TO out of retirement for the last few games.

My only hope going forward it that if we end up going after a new HC, is to give our AD the lattitude to go after someone he thinks will get the job done. He did a decent job in hiring the current Miami HC, let's see if he can't strike gold and hire us a proven winner as well.

I'd have to say no. No more hiring of assistatns to become a HC. Why? Pressure. The legacy of BD & TO still looms large and IMO the smartest thing we could do is hire a proven winner from elsewhere who isn't going to give a tinkers damn about said legacy because he believes in what he has done elsewhere.

the Husker nation should only hire within the perimeters of those affiliated to the state and the program ---this is my belief

I really have no idea who we could seriously pursue for HC, the task of bringing us back, to even mediocre, is more than most proven guys are willing to take on for peanuts. I'm almost certain it will be another coordinator just by our slim pickings alone

money talks and the coach that bring Nebraska back will be worshiped for years to come.

Thats really key, we've always hired the little guy verse a proven top guy. The brass favors longevity over all else no matter what they sacrifice to maintain it
