From all that I have read on the guy he is actually a pretty good guy. He established a charity to help kids get the eye care that they need in underprivileged parts of the country. He has volunteered a ton since being a Bronco even spending part of his summer doing the USO trip to support troops. Like I said I just think he is immature and unfortunately has had some bad influences around him at times. Obviously that is a personal choice he has made but like I said sounds like he is trying to clean all that up. I really do hope he and Aldon Smith can get all of this crap put behind them as they are very talented guys and I would love to see what they could do throughout a full career.

Sure, it's the NFL. I assume that there is a lot of players on the niners usuing PEDs too..... Know why? Because I'm not a fucking moron.
And no, I'm basing it on more than 2 games. Hell, the Packers game was his best statistical game as a pro and was still unimpressive considering how easy GB made the first read for him.
He only does well in the pistol, good luck with that.
there is clearly not enough evidence to call him a "piece of crap", but I hate it when a guy gets propped up on his charity work. Just because the hells angels do a toy drive at christmas time doesn't mean they don't prostitute young girls and sell meth.
You know why I assume the seahawks use more PED's than any other team?
Because I use the fact that more seahawk players have tested positive for PED's than on anyother team since Pete Carroll became head coach. In other words I used facts to arrive at my assumptions.
But nice blind shot into the dark trying to hit some ridiculous and unsubstantiated problem in SF with PED use.
Really fucking pathetic.
Not just another fanbase, a division rival.
And since thats what this thread is really about....
We know that Denver has a better offense and KC has a better defense... or at least thats what I think. Is the disparity between the offenses similar to the disparity between defenses? Or does one team have an obvious advantage overall. I think most would say Denver is clearly the better team. But KC's defense has looked pretty nasty. Will be interesting to see how they do against Denver.
The funny thing about this thread: if I had started a "Shaun Phillips is better than Elvis Dumervil" thread last season the Bronco fans would've had a coronary. And they know it.
I'm just talking about me. It's trollish that a Chiefs fan started this thread. KC won't be a pushover, I agree. I think they are a playoff team.
Yes I am a Chiefs fan and yes I have even stated that I hate the donkeys. However, that is not the sole reason I started this thread. I just don't recall a situation like this where a player has tried to commit fraud and gotten such a light penalty. The donkos don't even really seem to be missing Miller anyway. I just think the guy is a dumbass. If it's Aldon Smith doing the same thing, my opinion would be the same.
He smoked some weed. Big fucking deal. So he tried to circumvent the stupid test for a stupid drug that shouldn't even be on the banned substances list. Again, big fucking deal.Von Miller of Denver Broncos, urine collector tried to cheat test - ESPN
He should be out for a year. The cover up is always worse than the crime.

Last summer I posted that I thought Phillips was likely to make up a good portion of the production we lost when Doom left. Some Chargers fan replied that Phillips was likely to be a distraction. Aren't you that Chargers fan?
That wasn't me. He's not a distraction, he's just very inconsistent. He'll pick up 90% of his sacks for the year in 3 or 4 games. He also is poor against better pass blockers. It's no coincidence that his sacks against the Ravens came after Oher left the game with an injury.
That said, I always liked the guy. Seemed like a bit of a misfit. Pissed off fans with stupid penalties and moron twitter comments, but he was always a solid player. The last couple of years he's had injury issues and been less effective, so when the season is over I think Dumervil will likely have much more of an impact.
The bold part sounds a bit like Dumervil actually
