I dont care. I think every team has players on something.

But you were trolling the Seahawks hard this summer about their issues. But little Von gets the benefit of the doubt that he was just trying to cover up marijuana considering his history, just forget about his history of amphetamines. You're a clown, son.

you'll have to provide some proof of that I'm afraid. I've never respected the seahawks enough to bother about what issues they may or may not have.

I never said that. Not every fan of a team thinks exactly the same. That's a good thing for niner/bronco fans when it comes to you two.

So we can chalk down sherman as a busted seahawk for PED use right? Because we both know he got off on a bullshit technicality?

We agree on that right?

good point about the one less game, i'd also go on to say that Dummervil plays more than Phillips as well, but yea.

My original point is that Miller can't be better because he isn't playing. Miller isn't helping his team by being suspended only hurting, while Dummervil is helping, and not hurting. Plus if you still had Dummervil you could have Phillips and Dummervil right now instead of just one.

Uh, actually no that's not correct. Phillips was brought in after we lost Dumervil as a replacement. If we'd have kept Doom, we wouldn't have needed Phillips, so he'd be on another team.

Here's another reason I'd rather have Phillips:
2013 salary
Dumervil - $8.5 million
Phillips - $1 million

Some of your brethren are getting a little hot under the mane because Miller is being called a scumbag. I can see how that would get annoying but it's the truth. It's not like he crashed his vehicle and got arrested for a DUI and is headed to rehab is it?

I understand that some of us are annoyed but you have to understand that when this is about the only thing talked about all summer when it comes to the Broncos you get tired of it real quick. I understand the kid has made some major mistakes and he is paying for those mistakes right now. He has made steps to try and improve himself by moving back in with his parents during the suspension, hiring an attorney to look into any other legal affairs that maybe he has not cleared up across the country, and has stepped away from all social media. He is spending this 6 weeks being proactive towards the whole situation so I applaud the kid for doing that just like I applaud Aldon Smith for taking a leave of absence to get himself back on track.

Now am I disappointed in Von? Yes! Do I think he is some kind of major scumbag for what he has done? Not really. I think he is immature and fell into a stupid situation. A lot of these kids these days that were superstars in college and then come into the NFL having been making many of these same mistakes. They were spoon fed from high school on and were never told no by society on anything so to all of a sudden expect them to act maturely when they are handed millions of dollars is laughable at best. Obviously Von has to live with the choices he has made and he has been punished losing a substantial amount of money and playing time plus all of the respect and praise of Bronco Fans. He has a lot of growing up to do and we shall see if he can redeem himself. I guess for me I am an optimist and hope that there is good in every person and believe in giving people 2nd chances. I had people give me 2nd chances in life even when I acted immaturely and I appreciate those people all the more for being like that towards me.

And I said you're wrong. Had Dumervil stayed, the Broncos would not have brought in Phillips. It wasn't going to happen. It was always going to be one or the other.

Based on two games? You can, but that would prove you are a fool...... again.

And shouldn't we also assume that Every seahawk player that was caught using PED's were using steroids and not adderall?

Could? Well yeah I guess you "Could" say that but obviously it wasn't going to happen. The Broncos wanted either or in the situation. It is why they weren't trying to sign any other pass rushers until the whole Dumervil situation got figured out. Otherwise my guess is they would have started looking at the other guys earlier in the process.

I understand. It's just a little faux outrage to pick a little at another fan base. I'm sure some guys really do think he's a scumbag but I don't have enough information to come to that conclusion. I'm all for second chances.

perhaps, given their reported substantial PED use, you feel that everyone was opinionated about that...personally, I think the hawks SHOULD use them...you're gonna need em

Sure, it's the NFL. I assume that there is a lot of players on the niners usuing PEDs too..... Know why? Because I'm not a fucking moron.

And no, I'm basing it on more than 2 games. Hell, the Packers game was his best statistical game as a pro and was still unimpressive considering how easy GB made the first read for him.

He only does well in the pistol, good luck with that.

Not just another fanbase, a division rival.

And since thats what this thread is really about....

We know that Denver has a better offense and KC has a better defense... or at least thats what I think. Is the disparity between the offenses similar to the disparity between defenses? Or does one team have an obvious advantage overall. I think most would say Denver is clearly the better team. But KC's defense has looked pretty nasty. Will be interesting to see how they do against Denver.

From all that I have read on the guy he is actually a pretty good guy. He established a charity to help kids get the eye care that they need in underprivileged parts of the country. He has volunteered a ton since being a Bronco even spending part of his summer doing the USO trip to support troops. Like I said I just think he is immature and unfortunately has had some bad influences around him at times. Obviously that is a personal choice he has made but like I said sounds like he is trying to clean all that up. I really do hope he and Aldon Smith can get all of this crap put behind them as they are very talented guys and I would love to see what they could do throughout a full career.
