I kind of thought the same thing, but I think that TN is better than I thought they were. SD flew across the country for an early kickoff after a second half collapse on MNF to beat the Eagles, who had looked pretty decent against Washington the week before. I lost vCash on that one.

I agree but West coast team travelling East for a what amounts to a 10 am start for the Chargers, coming off a heartbreaking loss and a short week, I don't think anyone expected them to win. I was impressed by the Chargers resiliency.

Going strictly by betting lines SD was the biggest underdog to win, but like most I think the Chargers are a bit underrated while the Eagles are overrated. Wasn't a huge surprise.

Hey they tried to lose with two redzone turnovers. They've got some talent they just constantly beat themselves. I think most would agree I think the oddsmakers were just putting too much weight on the Chargers collapse/ Eagles' home opener / cross country trip/ 10am start crap.

Chargers are 8-0 against the Titans, and the Titans know it. Should be a good game.

Meh, it's a division game. We've seen the Bills and Jets take the Pats down to the wire at least once a year for ten years but still finish 6-7 games behind them.

I don't see how that's surprising. The Eagles were 4-12 last season to San Diego's 7-9, and the Chargers almost beat a good team week one. All the Eagles did was beat a bad team week one.

I think the situation set up for the Chargers to lose though. They were on a short week going across the country for an early game and still played pretty well. I will agree that the Eagles are overrated this year and this whole Chip Kelly offense is just plain stupid. They don't have the players to sustain this for a full season and it just puts your defense in a bad situation especially come 4th quarter when they have played 3/4's of the game up to that point and are tired. Yes it might lead to some decent points for the offense and some great highlights but overall it just means your defense is getting lit up as well.
