To imply that because someone happens to root for a different team than the one you root for he is naturally disposed to always take the low road strikes me as ironic.

What is really ironic about this whole idiotic thread is that I think I ticket him off with my initial post which very clearly included an acknowledgment that peyton had a spectacular night. I guess the fact that I also pointed but it was only the first game and the ravens helped to shoot themselves in the foot (although how that reflects badly on peyton I can't quite parse out) just set him off. I might think brady is the better qb but no sane person doesn't acknowledge that peyton is going to be a first ballot HOF. I guess not agreeing that peyton is the goat or the patriots suck is just not acceptible.

has nothing to do with peyton in particular...just funny that pats fans always want to diminish any accomplishment of the Broncos

It is shocking to you that fans of rival teams want to come up with reasons why a win was not quite as great as it seems? I agree with you that is just pat fans and we have it in for the broncos. Now if broncos fans were like pat fans you would here someone like you coming up with reasons why a win against your team was not really all that special like "it was early in the year" or "it was really close and the fact that they trailed so so badly so late in the game doesn't matter becuase they finally got it to within 10 points". But I know you would never say that. Or any of the other crap that I thought you have been posting for the past couple of years about the pats.

I really mean that I don't mean disrespect but this is one of the dumbest posts I have seen in a long long time.

However far afield this thread may have gotten, no one can credibly deny the claim in its title -- at least through Week 1!

Puhlease.

"Robert Kraft invented football but his humility demanded that Walter Camp take the credit." - eric5577x

I can totally understand the Tom Brady knob-slobbing but can't even begin to fathom the cult worship of that little, small self-centered douchebag of an owner Robert Kraft. It's thoroughly puzzling and illustrates how successful the Foxboro spin doctors have been at elevating that little man to hero status.

"Hey baby, has anyone ever told you about The Patriot Way."

You know a guy is a billionaire when he's 81 yrs old, 4' 9" is wearing a shiny suit and pink tie and yet Beyonce is smiling at him like he's Tyson Beckford. :pound:

Haha, that is pretty damn funny!

Another scary thing is they didn't even have to run the ball. I think Montee Ball will wind up being a stud. After 1 game teams still have absolutely no idea how to gameplan against a Broncos team that decides they may want to run the ball.

After that muffed punt catch by Welker, I said wow what's up dude?
But then he came back nicely. It looked a lot like Brady was using him. Wes is a warrior and I think we saw what he can do after being weaned by Tom. Peyton is a copycat!

Payton had an amazing game. No doubt. But did anyone else notice Huff really struggling? He was caught out of position a lot.

Boy that got out of hand quickly!! LMAO!! As for who ever said I kiss the ass of the NE Patriots and am not critical of this team, you are so far off. I cannot stand Brady, I think BB cannot draft a secondary to save his life, this team is cheap at times, and thinks a guy off the street is a better investment than a rookie who is not from Rutgers. BB is a good coach, but a prick at the same time. Brady is a whinny bitch....I just cannot see your issues with Kraft. He is a business man, and a good one at that. The product he has put on the field has been very good for the past 10yrs. Oh well! Jealousy breads hate, hatter's go after anything to make themselves look better. As for the Denver fan on here who says Patriots fans are rude, obnoxious and walk around with their noses in the air......you are doing the same thing, but the funny thing is, your doing it after 1 game!

The Patriots enable a drug addicted serial killer but this clown wants to point out that a Broncos player got a {gasp!} DUI!

tumblr_loxylqF39q1qinlpn.gif

You do realize that if NE had not taken him, someone else would have? Just curious if you would act the same way if it was someone else....Are you also saying you take DUI lightly??

You know I think it's a testament to his greatness that it didn't really SEEM like a record breaking performance. It was so surgical, so precise, that it almost felt pedestrian.

I mean, did it really feel like the kind of performance that most of us have never seen in our lifetime? Not really, at least not to me.

Oh damn, I misread your quote and almost agreed with you on your whole post but I won't.

Peyton just didn't (or doesn't) have the arm that you expect from an NFL level anymore. He will have a great year because of the competition he's facing this season. But there's no way in hell he would get away with that kind of performance against a D like the Niners or Seahawks.

But the reason why I give Peyton so much props than these other new age QBs or strong armed QBs? Because it was all done upstairs. For a guy who looked limited physically, and had a couple of receivers who dropped his passes as well (I only say this because Flacco wasn't the only one who had receivers drop some easy catches), it is even more extraordinary that he was able to put up 7 TDs in one game.

Welker will just be a decoy for Julius Thomas, the real weapon. Julius Thomas is Megatron-ish.

I must be the only one who doesn't think that highly of Julius Thomas. I need a couple of more games to be convinced that he is close to being that good. As of right now, I don't see him having the potential to be in the same level as Graham or Gronk or even Davis for that matter who I happen to think is overrated.

I think the Pats are a thorn in everybody's side until Bellychick leaves or dies. We all know that Brady is just a system QB and whomever they plug in next will march them up and down the field like he has.:yahoo:
