It is tradition...win or lose fans go out onto the field! They rush to players for autographs, wrist bands, etc. Been that way for years and people are just now talking about it.
I did it every game as a kid growing up. Made my day when I made it to terry Allen and got his towel. Wore it in every little league game i played.
this has nothing to do with the win over Georgia. If we would have lost fans would have still gone on the field. Kids are able to throw football, kick FGs, and enjoy an experience of getting up close to the players.
It is what it is...a tradition! Not because they won
