Self-proclaimed Asshole
Utah should jump big time and I think they should be ranked after the Weber State stomping there going to give this Saturday afternoon! JMHO Go Utes.

I havent been impressed by any team so far; especially my own team. I've got a feeling it is gonna be at least 2 weeks before we have any idea what the top of the heap even is going to resemble. All this weekend reaffirmed in my mind is that you have to wait until they play the game to know anything.
So Florida does not allow a td from their opponent and falls three spots to 13, but Tosue allows 20 and stays the same? Yep makes sense

-------Hell no they shouldn't.
Fall 2 spots maybe 3. That is it. Teams shouldn't be punished for going on the road in week 1 vs a top tier opponent.

If you're a solid top 10 team, you winif not you drop. Is 19 too low? Maybe yet after game one a loss that was expected to be a win for Georgia should bounce them out ot the top 10. Were it the other way around where would Clomson be ranked right now if at all?
Also, Florida and Texas look about the same right now IMO. If I put my homer hat on, I would say Florida may be slightly better (but not by much)...
Mark my words. Before this season is over, Florida's offense will be doing big things. Once these new WRs get more experience, they will greatly improve the passing game, and I know we haven't seen it yet, but I think most critics are over-looking the raw talent of Jeff Driskel, and he will surprise the masses very soon. And did you see Kelvin Taylor? He will be a good one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, call me a homer, but I can see the signs of success developing in this program.
I'm confused. Clemson wins, Georgia loses, and people want them to be ranked about the same? The goal of football is to win, and what seperates good teams from great teams is the ability to win close games. We don't know how good Clemson / Georgia are, but considering Georgia has already lost a game, and half the teams in college football have not I don't have a problem with a considerable amount of teams being ranked ahead of them. Should Ohio State be ranked behind Georgia, no? So, why Georgia be ranked ahead of Ole Miss, Washington, or Oklahoma State? I'm going to be making my rankings based solely on this seasons performance and I would rather my team win.
That is the problem with polls in general. They don't rank teams based on who is best... and the formula for moving up and down are based on relative performance from week to week... so if a team starts way too high or way too low... they will always lag a bit to what they should actually be ranked... and unless a team in front of them loses... they may never catch up.
Also, the raw rankings. I will use tOSU as an example at #2. Before the season began and you heard the sports reporters and voters talk about OSU... 70% of their comments were all about how they have schedule that is prime to send them into the BCS championship. Sure, they talk about how great the team is... but most people aren't sitting their saying "they are the 2nd best team..." they are saying "they have the best chance to run their schedule based on the level of competition..."
So..I can never get a straight answer out of any body I know on are you ranking based on the odds of going unbeaten (or having the fewest losses) or are you ranking based on how good the team is?
TCU out of the top 25 and Washington in, at #25.
UGA at #11.

TCU played a good game against LSU.

UGA at #11.
That is true, but they still lost. And when you loose you drop, and when you are already at #20, there isn't much room to drop without dropping out of the top 25.
They'll probably work they're way back in in the next week or two.
that is ignorant. If number 25 loses to #1 in 2 OTs, you would move them down?
