Can anything go right for this team?

The one reason to consistently keep up with the Mariners at this point of the year (was) Felix's chance of winning the Cy Young.

After August 1st Felix looked like a front runner with a 2.30 ERA and looking like it'll only go lower.

Since that start he has given up 21 earned runs in his last 27 innings (5 starts). His ERA went from 2.63 to 2.97 today against the Rangers (Gave up 8 ER in 3 innings)

This is just a perfect example of what it is like to be a Mariners fan. The one thing going right (Felix's possible Cy Young bid) crashes. Oh well, think on the bright side! At least when we suck, we know the only people who are going to talk about the team are the actual dedicated fans.

Yes huh. Ask Jr., the front office tries their hardest but it's fans not showing that is the reason for the franchise's decade 12 postseason absence.

I wonder if he just gets worn out and burnt out or if he just stops caring towards the end of the season. He doesn't seem like the kind of player that would ever give up on a season.

You guys aren't enthused about youngsters like Miller and Franklin? What about Seager? And the job that Farquar has done since becoming the closer? Seems to me that the M's have more reason for hope than they have in a while.

Texas just lights Felix up for some reason. They've done it all year this year and over the past few years.

The m's went from having good pitching and historically bad offense to bad pitching and nearly mediocre (but still not quite) offense.

It's a recipe for very few things to go right.

glad i didn't tune in tonight. what a miserable assemblage of losers this team is.

when the us open is over, i might end up watching some more games, but i'll just go by the SC app for now.
