Well if Flynn actually played like a starting QB then he would be starting but since he keeps playing like a 7 round pick he will end up being a backup.

The only reason Raiders fans want Pryor is they know their Oline is a dumpster fire and thus, Pryor has the athleticism to run to the outside faster than Flynn, and maybe get a few token rushing yds or avoid a few sacks. Operation "run for your life".

They want Pryor starting out of pure desperation because of that Oline. But in the end, it doesn't really matter. Raiders are a 2-3 win team no matter whose out there. Pryor will probably have a knee blown out by week 8 if they give him the start.

The Clownin' for Clowney angle is just a bonus for them. The same way Indy Sucked for Luck on purpose. But still, how will that help their offense in anyway in 2014?

I have a feeling if Pryor gets hurt and Flynn starts he might play better. I'm seeing the same stuff happen to Flynn that happened to Thigpen and Huard in KC.
