Jahvid Best out, Nate Burelson out, Titus Young crazy, Ryan Broyles out. Stafford still threw for nearly 5k yards. Stafford Vs. Palmer? ApplesTo Oranges...

FYI genius - Carson Palmer threw more touchdowns, less interceptions, had a higher completion percentage and a higher QB rating that Matt Stafford last year. In addition, he threw for over 4,000 yards. And that was on the JOAKLAND RAIDERS. Imagine the numbers he would have put up with a receiver like Megatron. Oh year, and for his career, he has a higher completion percentage and higher QB rating than Matt Stafford.

If he sucks, what is that saying about Matt Stafford?

HMMMM

The NFC North with Green Bay, Chicago, and Minny vs the AFC West with.....errrrrr

Do they play defense in the AFC West?

Carson Palmer has seen his better days his arm is not as strong and he has lost more than a step. I wouldn't brag about anything that happened in the AFC West as those teams sucked .... easily the worst in the NFL!

The Raiders sucked and they just gave away a guy they gave a kings ransom to get???? It's not like Matt Flynn or Terelle Pryor have any such track records to brag about.

I am sure Palmer will help the Cardinals but just about anything would help that offense.

So keep the stats they lie and tell a story the originator wants.

Palmer played on the Raiders. You're whole team could have been injured and it would have been a better roster than the Raiders. If you are arguing that the Raiders had better offensive weapons that the Lions last year then you are crazy.

You seem to be a Palmer expert knowing about his arm strength an all. Have you been following the Cardinals training camp? He is 33 years old. His arm strength is fine. Nobody is bragging about what happened in the AFC west. Palmer has had an above average career with average offenses. Now he is on a team with legitimate weapons. I'm not saying he is an elite QB. I'm just saying neither is Stafford.

When someone makes a moronic post like broncosmitty, I gotta come back with some facts. Think before you post bronco!

He did think before he posted, and he made a true, educated statement. Carson Palmer stinks. Period. He's also getting old and is injury-prone. A backup QB would be a fool not to want to play behind him. That's all he was saying. Nothing moronic about it. Never mentioned Stafford; you did. Whether Palmer had better stats than Stafford or not, he still stinks. Safford wasn't very good last year, we get that (most of us) and discuss it frequently. So, take your facts back to your Zona and save them for week 2. And enjoy 4-12.

Geez. Everyone is so sensitive here. I saw a post about Palmer and simply pulled out some stats to contradict the post. I never said Stafford sucks nor do I think he sucks. I was making a point that Stafford's numbers were similar to Palmers.

I would like to know how is Palmer injury prone? He missed one full season due to injury and another partial season. Other than that he started every game when given the nod to start.

Why are we talking about Carson Palmer? He's just another USC washed up QB....Granted probably the best one they've had in a few decades considering Leinart, Sanchez and soon to be Barkley. Good Grief USC puts out crappy QBs.

I somehow missed this post earlier. Eat my ass you fat nosed, big eared, stonerass mutt! You want some facts!?! Carson Palmer, in comparison to every single other starting QB in the NFL, has the least/worst upside, lowest expectations, most miserable leadership skills, and a stupid name. (Kolb, Sanchez and Gabbert don't count. As nobody really thinks of them as starters in the first place). You should be happy Stanton is your backup, rather than try to convince anyone other than a Cardinal fan that Palmer isn't garbage at this point in his career.(he threatened to retire rather than play for the team he was captain of) Now get back in the van and tell Casey Kasem to fire one up.

Above average career!?! Compared to whom? Sean Salusbury? Matt Leinart? Tom Tupa? Andy Dalton came into Cincy and immediately did whatCarson couldn't. Palmer is a bitch and a quiter. Heres what his former owner had to say about him when he finally realized his QB had a vagina: "Carson signed a contract. He made a commitment. He gave his word. We relied on his word. We relied on his commitment. We expected him to perform here. He's going to walk away from his commitment. We aren't going to reward him for doing it."

Have fun pulling for him. When the going gets tough...... Pack up your milk bones and go home.

I admit he quit on his team like Barry Sanders (not comparing the players so calm down). But how many NFL players sign a contract and hold out on their commitment. How many players demand a trade? If you had to work with TO and Chad Johnson every day you would probably quit as well.
