Since when have I been quiet?

I know you can't be accused of that, Smiles. Have you had a chance to watch our man Taylor Kelly play at QB as ASU? If so, does he remind you of Jake the Snake? I know you are familiar with them both. Has Jake been tutoring him?

Game will be close.....UW has a huge home-field advantage. That can't be disregarded. Boise has played some big-time opponents and won't be intimated and Chris Peterson is a genius and will have the team ready, but I just think UW has a lot of talent and you combine that with the crowd.....UW looks like it has the advantage. If this game were in Boise or a neutral site, I would pick Boise.....but not at Husky Stadium.

Just talked with a friend in Boise who is also a Boise State Booster. He knows the program well.

He stated Washington will be tough on the road but said "we should be just fine". He stated that The Broncos are looking very explosive again the offensive side of the ball. Specifically he said:

Expect a big time air attack early. BSU will look to leverage one of Boise State's most experienced, talented receiving corps. Expect a lot of "no huddle" and even the Nevada style "Pistol". He said this was already fine tuned in the Spring. Expect Southwick to use his scrambling ability and a healthy dose of Jay Ajayi, a big, explosive back, mixed in throughout. Expect a very aggressive, risk taking style of D designed to get to rattle Prince early.

Sounds accurate, but come on, its not like a booster can predict a game. Heck, even if your coach says you will be "just fine", that doesn't remotely guarantee a win.

It wasn't like he guaranteed a win for Boise. It was more like he felt our boys look ready for battle. I still give UW an edge but you are in for a fight too.

I'm expecting some points to be scored in this game. I think the Over hits. I'll make a homer pick and go Boise State 31 Washington 27.

Here's the official hype video:

I think this will be a lot better/closer game than you think it will be and I like our chances... and I like them even more when you come to play on the Blue! Remember, that's a MILLION dollar buyout if the DAWGS don't show!

Why do all BSU fans worry about UW buying out of their return game? As far as I can remember UW has never bought out of one in the past and given how they setup their OOC's it would not be in their best interest to buy them out. I know you believe everyone in the nation is afraid to play at smurf turf, but I just don't see it. If UW wasn't too afraid to play at LSU why on earth would anything think they would be unwilling to go to Boise? It's a road game that isn't much farther way than going to a road apple cup and is a shorter travel than 2/3 of the conference games. The only way I'd ever see them buying out is to take a better game with an elite team and generally those are scheduled out a lot farther than this return game.

So is Nebraska's program. Washed, not good, in fact borderline embarrassing these last dozen years or so. No clue why you hate Boise so much (it's evident in every post), while Boise fans couldn't give two shits about Nebraska, but whatever.

:L

Nebraska once played football too. Now they troll Boise State trying to glean rays of light from Bronco Limelight. Sad day in Land of the Corn fuck.

I got Boise State in a close one. Maybe 30 - 27. Like most UofW fans I think BSU wiins (nuetral field or at Bronco Stadium) probably walking away. When you accumulate the grand opening, how tough this venue is anyway, the preassure on Sark, the revenge factor and the returning starter advantage for the Huskies, I get the optimism.

With the hurdles we face, I'll be clicking my heels with a one point win. Let's get it on!

Oh yeah, I've seen him a lot in high school here. He has a lot of talent, several have asked out loud why Boise let him go south. I think ASU might have another Jake, a kid I also saw plenty of, as an opposing coach. Jake spends most of his time in N. Idaho these says, helping coach a little at Sandpoint.

Oh, trust me, once bitten twice shy. While UW may have specifically not backed out of a game, others have. The fact that in the past they were totally unwilling to even discuss a return trip (but for some reason were willing to go the Hawaii), tells it all. But far be it from me to ever discuss such a thing, Wiz, knowing how you've wet your panties over this before.

Let's not have an accident, ok?

 If by wet my panties you mean I've had to correct you and your ilk when you continually lie about UW backing out of a game that never existed then I'm guilty as charged. Seems to me you are paranoid and see the man trying to hold you down around every corner.

BTW, have any proof that UW was 'totally unwilling to even discuss a return trip' or is that another one of your made up paranoid delusions?

The first meeting between BSU and UW was a fill in game to make up for Oklahoma backing out of a game at husky stadium. The broncos had an opening and it worked out for both schools. That's the end of the story, but for some reason you want to make it into more.

Hurry, get those panties changed before Labor Day, Wiz. I knew that I could count on a wounded reply.

Thanks for confirming it.

Oh, so it's the old I'm only a tard because being one riles you up ploy? No one will buy it Smiles. You have been blowing your horn for so long it's obvious. You honestly believe teams are afraid to go to smurf turf. In your eyes it is better to pay off BSU and skip out on return trips than to risk the embarrassment of losing to a mid-major on the road. That you believe that is comical, but to now try and come off like you have changed your spots is about the funniest thing I've read up here in ages.

Wiz, there you go again. Its the same old failure to communicate issue. You live in a BCS AQ world. Don't apply your logic in our MidMajor world. It is a waste of your time.

The truth is Wiz, that Oregon, Oregon State and Washington State have all sacked up and made trips into Boise. Washington is the only PAC team from the Pacific Northwest that has not played Boise in Boise.

Wiz, now what the hell are you gonna do if Washington actually loses this game? Will you be here to take your take your beatin like a man? And you will be in for a hell of a beatin Wiz -- you know that, right. Maybe you'll make excuses for the loss?
