How the heck do you spend over half your life trying to make it to the NFL, then just quit. $88K per year minimum, the chance to still sign onto a teams active roster... and your heart isnt in it??

he had no chance here . he must not love it and that is understandable i wish him well
Dude.. for a minimum of $88K, plenty of people would work jobs they dont like. Worst case he makes practice squad again (if he is eligible) Best case, he shows his ass in preseason and gets picked up by another team not so deep at RB and makes 1/2 million a year as a third stringer. Only thing worse than wasted talent is walking away from an opportunity.
sometimes it isnt about money
He didn't have much of a chance to make this team.
Dude.. we live in America... its always about the money.
Agreed, but guys that dont make this team will get picked up elsewhere. You have a SHOT to get a job that only a little over 2000 people per YEAR have, and you quit. Sorry dude... weak minded. You give it your all until you either make the team, or people stop calling.
Glad he didn't waste anymore of the Redskins time
