ah, HERE'S the problem. i said KD, NOT KG, dipshit...

thanks for playing...:laugh3:

You did, and I acknowledge that I misread and was wrong.
The words speak for themselves.

The thing with you is, that your words also speak for themselves, but even after your name appears on my visitor page, even after you claim to have never picked the Lakers to bear the Spurs, and after you declared preseason power rankings to be actual power rankings, you are not NEAR man enough to just admit you were either just wrong or made a mistake.

There is no shame in making mistakes.

There is though, a lot of shame in being a grown man and being so insecure that you need to cone up with lies and excuses that no one older than the age of 4 would try to pass off as the truth.

yeah i could see spot duty helping out in that regard. it'd kinda be like what the Celtics did with Kevin Garnett. still, i guess i'm not so sure of the guy's durability even in the least possible minutes. if you guys hook it up we'll see soon enough...

Not trying make any type of excuse for misreading the other post, but this is why I had KG on my mind.
In had just seen his name.

Indiana is not the best team in the east.

They are just merely a matchup nightmare for one particular team in Miami.

But, I also think Indiana would get smoked by a healthy Bulls and Nets team.
Those teams present nightmare scenarios for the Pacers in return as constructed.

Miami is far more versatile overall. They can still win despite matchups sometimes.
Indiana probably needs the matchups to fall perfectly in their favor.

I can see the Bulls being better than Indy if Drose is back to MVP Rose but the Nets fought dinosaurs for drinking water.

hibbert is soft and garbage. he dominants miami because of size only. miami won back to back nba titles by going through his team. he can dominate a small joel anthony and udonis haslem. birdman was breaking all sorts of records for FG% on the guy in his off the bench role.

hibbert is far from a superstar. his contract is a noose. the pacers are a solid tough gritty squad. but they are playing for #2 in the east. it's their ceiling. im not trying to knock them. but outside of the 2004 Pistons.. when was the last time a team won the title without a superstar? it just doesnt happen in the NBA very often.

Hibbert is not soft, but is a clean player. Not sure why, other than West, anyone thinks the Pacers are a dirty team. Unlike the Heat, who have thugs like Shane Bat me eh? and Wade.

Roy is an extremely intelligent young man who has a work ethic that is out of this world. He has slowly but surely gotten better every year in the league. He vowed to work on his foot speed and ability to recover on defense this summer. I believe him. I imagine he will level off at some point, but I doubt it will be this next season.

The Heat are not a dirty team, Wade may have moments but Battier? That is ridiculous.

People think that Indy is a dirty team because they are physical. They put their hands on you and move you. It is all legalish but more physical than most are playing right now.

now KD i'd take in a heartbeat...:yahoo:

at least HE hasn't done anything to embarrass himself or the league...

The Oklahoma City Thunder forward was fined $25,000 for making a menacing gesture during a game, the NBA announced Friday. Durant threw down a key dunk to help the Thunder take control late in the second quarter of Thursday's 116-97 victory against the Golden State Warriors, then made a brief throat-slashing gesture

Apparently, that went too far. Durant's explanation of the move undoubtedly did not help matters.
"Kill 'em and pray for 'em after the game," Durant said.

This years Finals was to say the least, strange, because the play of both teams was so inconsistent.

The Heat were ripe to be beaten, but they survived.

The one thing that I don't think can be disputed is that when the Heat are playing at their best, there is no way they lose 4/7 to anyone.

The mystery, or problem though, is there is no way to just decide to play your best in the Finals.

It's all about getting into a rhythm as the playoffs go along, but it isn't that easy, because other good teams with good coaches are trying to knock you out of that rhythm.

One of the strangest and yet most entertaining finals that I can remember!! Spend the first few games trading blowouts, followed by nailbiters!!

We never hear of stupid things being done by Durant and OKC or the Spurs because the media wants you to believe they are the good guys. LAL and the Heat and the Knicks have everything reported on and every little thing is blown miles out of proportion to make them look like the villains, the people you root against.

Great example: OKC westbrook threw tantrums on the court and even stormed off "he wants to win to much" Heat or the Lakers argue they have chemistry issues and are immature.

It helps create story lines and sides which sell ad space and tshirts.

So James, the most popular player in the NBA is known as a villain?

The media has no problem with James. So WTF are you talking about?

Anybody who has ever coached him at any level has no problem with James.

The many charities he supports have no problem with him.

Cavs fans were a little butt hurt, so for a while they had every right to look at him like a villain, because he represented their only hope. He was all they had.
The vast majority of them, rightfully so, have moved on. They apparently have more of a life then you do.

So, now, its just pretty much you the village idiot and few other mostly Laker fans acting like your fucking opinion of James means something to anyone outside of yourselves.:laugh3:

I actually had a decent response but realized talking to you 2 is like explaining economics to toddlers.

I will keep it very short. There are several things done by several players that can be either stupid or bad or in the grey area.

We hear a lot more negative things about LBJ and Laker and Yankee types (the villains, the goliath's) over small market david types. The Celtics and Steelers are working class teams, OKC is home grown, done it right etc

I assure you they have all done stupid things but it is not covered over and over again or usually even brought up, but then certain players do it and it is talked about for years.

You and Bot must have been without news for the last couple years or so if you think James is now perceived as a villain, as CL suggested.

Bot is semi correct about how the media may distort things, but it really makes no difference if there has been nothing to distort.

Lebron may not necessarily be looked at so much as a villain now, but there is no question that he was and that his reputation has not fully recovered!! I don't particularly blame Lebron for this, but more ESPN!! It was ESPN that sold Lebron on "The Decision" and it was ESPN that deserted him when the whole thing blew up and people didn't react as they had hoped!!

Whether you like it or not, the Heat are now looked at as villains by many and as a member of the Heat, Lebron is lumped in to that. This is not necessarily a bad thing either!! Like the Yankees in MLB, the Lakers in the NBA and the Patriots in the NFL, they are considered "villains" because they are successful!! As I have pointed out before, no one hates the Toronto Raptors!! There is a reason for that!!
