yes but they won't overwork him. He will probably play 50-60 games avg 10-15 per night.

see what you want. we have gone to 3 straight finals and won back to back championships without oden. we dont need him to deal with the pacers.

The Heat doesn't need Oden to come here and avg a double-double.
All he really needs to do is defend the centers and grab rebounds.
yeah i could see spot duty helping out in that regard. it'd kinda be like what the Celtics did with Kevin Garnett. still, i guess i'm not so sure of the guy's durability even in the least possible minutes. if you guys hook it up we'll see soon enough...
I think all of the fans as well as the Heat players know how hard winning again will be.
The players are using this offseason to rest. That's why you won't be seeing Olympic tryouts and other outside activities. The only goal now is NBA championships.
As much as some people want to deny it, the Heat has a player who is as special as special can be, and it just isn't prudent to bet against him right now.
No matter what teams add, it isn't LeBron James.
As far as Oden, who knows?
At the start of last year, we didn't know we would get Birdman.
Fact is, every year there are difference makers let go around the trade deadline and they all seem to migrate to contenders, so the Heat will be fine if they need to find another piece at some point.
There is no way anyone can be sure of anything with this guy, but if you get him for the minimum, there is no risk.
If Oden falls apart again, his career is over. He has to know that.
If he feels that now is the time to give it a go, that's all I can do is root for the man regardless of who he chooses.
I know he made a boatload of money, but obviously he loves the games and wants to play it.
Keep in mind though!! The Heat had Lebron this past off-season and it took 7 games vs. the Pacers and a miracle shot from Ray-Ray to barely get the title this season!! Even with the rest, the Heat are still trying to accomplish something that has proven to be incredibly difficult!!
The Lakers in the early 2000's had the most dominant player in the league, in Shaq and another top 5 player (and arguably the 2nd best player in the league following the 3rd title) and the best coach in the league and couldn't make 4 straight finals!! And that Laker team was better that this Heat team!!
You simply can't underestimate the wear and tear that 3 straight finals appearances puts on a team!!
and let's face it, the Pacers came to a game 7 in almost taking the Heat, the Spurs went to a game 7 in almost taking the Heat. as much as some folks want to see it otherwise LeClown isn't NECESSARY to win a championship. sorry, but that's simply the truth...
True, but you gotta admit, it'd be easier with him than without!!

i hope he signs with miami. but i put exactly zero faith in him not getting injured. we clearly dont need him to win titles
boy, all of a sudden i'm seeing a LOT of faith being put into Oden's bum knees
now KD i'd take in a heartbeat...
at least HE hasn't done anything to embarrass himself or the league...
Seriously?
He called Villenueva a cancer patient.
He is the biggest trash talker in the game. Didn't Carmelo wait for him outside the locker room after a game?
How many players have accused him of being a cheap shot artist?
Didn't he, in the middle of a game ( on Mothers Day) tell Tim Duncan , happy Mother's Day, motherfucker, or something like that knowing full well that she had died of breast cancer?
The list goes on and on.
The man is total fucking garbage.
You should really think about some of the shit you write before you hit the submit reply button.
Chiefs/Laker is a troll.....don't mind him!

CL said KD not KG. You're confusing Durant with Garnett
