Other noticeable names on the list for those too lazy to look at the link include JR Smith, Monta Ellis, Kevin Martin, Jose Calderon, Jarret Jack, Shawn Marion, Tiago Splitter, Matt Barnes, Mo Williams,

Haha that was not the reason really monta is a very good player. Better than Jennings. If i was the bucks i would take monta over jennings. Brandon hurts the D to much.

Anyone care to explain why Al Jefferson makes $15m a year?

Heat Wish List:

Nikola Pekovic
Tiago Slpitter
YOUTHFUL SHOOTERS who can play Defence!!!

Heat really look proper fucked here. A lot of money is coming off the books but with the big 3 there is no way they will be able to sign anyone but exceptions.

The Big 3 sacrificed from day 1 to be able to unite. A lot can happen by the end of next season, but there is no reason to think that if James wants the trio to stay as is, that sacrifices wouldn't be made again.

A lot of Heat players have sacrificed for Arison. It will be his turn to give something back to the players by paying some luxury tax if it means it will allow a multiple type championship run to continue.

This will be their 3rd Finals in 3 years. If they make the Finals again next season and add at least one more ring between this and next season, I think everyone stays put.

The real ? is the health of Wade if you are thinking about next contracts for these guys.

none of those guys are that expensive and the Lakers have the money. They have some billion dollar tv contract. The Heat should get one pretty soon.

The bigger question is will the new management spend the money.

"Having the money" is quite different then having the cap space.
Rules are rules.

Where is the cap space coming from to sign anyone?

Lol if you have to complain about refs giving the game. Then you know its a close series. Just cause there were a few bad calls doesnt mean you will win the game. What about that no call on the ball hitting the rim to beat the shot clock? Which put heat right back into the game? See i can nitpick too.

The refs didnt cost the Heat the game. They didn't help the cause, but whatever.

Give me the Heat in the best of 3 with 2 at home against the Pacers anytime. I'm not the least bit concerned.

Isn't it a soft cap? They will pay luxury tax sure.

I'm no expert, but I think the soft cap allows you to go over when you re sign your current players. You can't just add new contracts though.
