I been all over LBJ about his comments after game 5 since thursday on the heat board. As I said last night throwing your teammates under the bus (especially Wade/Bosh) under the bus in front of the media is the wrong way to do it and wouldn't help either player confidence.

Did Wade/Bosh throw him under the bus to the media in 2011 when he played like shit against Dallas or did they support him and always have his back?

Wade and Bosh have been struggling. I can understand how difficult it is not to say it in public when the media asks these questions. But Wade and Bosh have to be disappointed in themselves. 1 of 8 and 3 of 11 is inexcusable at this stage. Bosh is saying the right things and I hope he bounces back with energy. He needs to attack the slower Hibbert. Wade just has to believe in himself. He cannot use the excuse that he is not getting touches. He was benched because he was struggling so he wont get shots. He just has to be aggressive. If his knee is bothering him then he should excuse himself and get treatment like last year.

But I agree that Lebron shouldn't be saying that he is going back to his Cleveland days. That won't improve his teammates confidence. Because there is some dissent between players. Spo or Riley will have to tell them to shut up.

The Pacers are getting cocky, especially Hibbert. Hibbert feels he is slighted by not getting DPOY or something. He acts like he is a star player. There is nothing in his game that is fantastic other than being tall. He can't even jump and block shots, but with his height he alters them. He gets away with not being called for fouls. Dwight gets called for fouls and his defense is cleaner than Hibbert's. The Pacers are a good defensive team but not this good. The officiating has something to do with that as well.

I also left out people like me who work alot of night shifts and will miss most of the games for employment reasons.

I have made it a point to watch every game from here on out at a bar, away from my house and not working. It has taken a lot of dedication since I started yesterday but I am going to keep it going!!! #workaholics anonymous

it's why the NFL is by far the better league and has more popularity, fellas...

This is true but the parity in the NFL is over stated. I can make a list of teams that will not win a superbowl in the next 20 years that will be longer than any list of teams with no shot in the NBA. In the NBA all it takes is a couple of players to decide they will try and any team is an honest contender. In the NFL the competence of ownership is what it really boils down to.

I don't think it was Lebron's intentions to throw his teammates under the bus. I just think his choice of words could have been a little better.

Definitely. I agree with you guys in that Wade stuck with Lebron through thick and thin in 2011 and while Lebron's comments are not horrible, they are a bit disparaging to a guy who imo showed him what it took to be a champion. I think Lebron may have taken offense to Wade going the "subliminal Kobe Bryant call out" way.

The best part about last nights game was both Marv and Kerr calling Miller out for his constant flopping when he played

Marv "Let's face it Reggie. You were the King of flopping"

Paul George has been playing well in Miami this series. But game 7 won't be about Indiana. It'll be about Miami and whether they can rebound and stay out of foul trouble

Everything the Heat are saying is bad, they need to have a heart to heart man to man drunken call each other out and hug fest and then sober up in enough time to get a game plan together and execute it.

Really?

That was your take away for the best part of the game? I'll give you the best part of the broadcast commentary but not the game.

I thought the best part of the game was the way the Pacers took control in the third and how Miami fought back in the fourth. It made for an exciting Game 6! It was good to see the Pacers stave off the late Heat run and push for the win and force a Game 7 game winner take all to face the Spurs.

I have no problem with what Lebron said after game 5!! The simple fact is, the way that his teammates have played (particularly Wade and Bosh) if not for Lebron, this series would be over and we'd be preparing for a Spurs/Pacers final!!

Lebron has been more than patient with his teammates and waiting for them to get it together!! One could say that he has been too patient!!

Additionally, Lebron says what he said after game 5, then last night when Bosh is being interviewed he says straight up "I have not been playing well and I have to and will play better". Meanwhile, Wade cries about touches!!

If the Heat don't win tomorrow or don't beat the Spurs in the finals, maybe if one of the big 3 gets traded, it should be Wade?

oooo baby College Bball is coming up!!!

that makes me feel better, and I will take a little solace in the fact they will be blowing this roster up THIS offseason and even though they will not drop wade I know Riley knows what he is doing. Wade and somebody not named LBJ, Bosh, Chalmers, and Cole trade for D12? Yea how about them apples?

DUDE!! :wtf2:

this is way too fkn soon LOL

Wade should accept his fate and be honest. He is not the same he was. Their O needs to be the LBJ and Bosh show down low mixing in some Birdman^2. Kicking to the PG on the floor and Miller for as many minutes as he can give and the occasional slash from wade. When no miller kick to Haslem in his sweet spot.

On D they need to buckle down man up and double Hibbert as soon as he gets the ball with Bosh/Birdman(^2) on the inside and Miller/Wade/Haslem on the outside. The rest should take care of itself.

The Heat basically have to do whatever James wants them to do. That is sadly the reality of the current NBA hope to keep your best player protocol.
The fact that they are best friends is what very well united them.
Going forward, it may lead to their demise.

With Wades injuries, if he didn't know for sure what Arisons intentions were, he would be playing Russian Roulette to opt out after next year.

Best case for the Heat might be for Wade to keep his contract as is, and then re evaluate his career in a couple years when it terminates.

James opts out and gets his max.

Then, they see how the money situation is and determine how to handle Bosh.
A lot depending on how this and next season ending, for sure.

The Heat might be letting the hype get to their heads, they better not come out today falling asleep because they will get touched.
