Moved to Cleveland from Boston and became an instant Ohio St fan.

In 1987 I moved to Dallas. Took a little time to find a team to cheer for. Went to the 1988 Cotton Bowl game, Texas AM and Notre Dame. After watching the Aggie fans, I became an instant Texas fan.

I live in the Volunteer state and couldn't imagine pulling for anyone other than my home state Vols. Been a fan since I was a kid.

Where ya going to take him to see a real game?

well i want to keep his spirit up so it will be the first home game of the season against NMST because my wife can go...she would of just had a baby by then...then maybe Ole Miss then Texas Tech....Maybe even the OU Game...

that includes a blow out win, a win against the SEC and a Big 12-ish win over tech and his first RRSO win over OU!!! Thats all he needs to see this year!!

Received my BS and MS from VT and had been a fan since the early '90s when my oldest brother also got his BS in Mechanical Engineering.

My grandfather went there and became a distinguished alumnus.

My father went there and did the same.

I felt that I had to go there twice to try and up the ante so got my BS and MS there. I would have stuck around for my PhD had it been offered at VT, but alas I left for The University of Pittsburgh.

Found a Bama T-shirt at Wal Mart and I was hooked.

Seriously though, was born and raised a Bama fan. Had several family members go there in the past too.

I became a Gator fan way back in the mid 60's when I was a young lad, and watching the Gators on local TV in Jax FL. And of course, we also had this little game in the Gator Bowl between Florida and those damned Dawgs from up North. Been a Gator fan for almost 50 years now.

That being said, as a new member on this board, I would like to introduce myself by saying "to hell with those Dawgs", and "screw those Noles!"

My older bro went to UGA and my dad casually watched them his whole life. I guess I was about 10 or so when I first watched a UGA game.
Been a Braves fan as long as I can remember.
Been a falcons fan since 98 when I was 7 and saw them beat the Vikings in the NFC CG. Been a Hawks fans since I played basketball at age 6 and watched them on tv when they had Dikembe and Mookie Blaylock

I'll try and get into Philly teams not named the Phillies because moms from up there

Pretty much most of my close family was born in Oklahoma, as so was I. We lived in Moore through most of my childhood until we moved to Dallas, my dad got a different job. My dad use to work at a restaurant just down the road from the Stadium, he use to take me to work with him during the fall on Saturdays so i could listen to the crowd on gamedays. I have never had much money to go to any games, got to go to one when i was in high school, i was at the OU wrestling camp. But i catch every game either on tv or radio. Been a life long Sooner fan. I bleed Crimson and Cream.... Boomer Sooners

UNC - My parents went their, i grew up attending games, watching games, etc.

Cardinals - My granddad was a cardinals fan. So, my dad and my uncles became Cardinals fan. So, I am a Cardinals fan.

Rams - Same granddad was an NC State fan, and apparently when my dad was growing up someone from NC State played on the Rams so my granddad liked them. So, my dad liked them too. My granddad became a Charger "fan" after Torry Holt left the Rams and and Philip Rivers was drafted. My dad and I are still Rams fans though.

Could it have been Roman Gabriel? My mom was in love with him for some reason.

To be honest, I have no idea. But, based on his wikipedia page, yes that would be him. Thanks

I got sick and tired of Georgia Tech not caring if they win or lose football and basketball games. Then they went out and hired Navy coach Paul Johnson. Now they suck and they don't care so neither do I, not anymore.

I have always admired UNC and all of the other ACC schools as well. It took me a while to decide which one I like best and UNC is definitely the one!

My father taught at USC, so I grew up on the campus as a fan. I later got a degree there (was already a big fan by then, of course).
I'm a bandwagon Texas fan since I went to grad school there.
I'm a part time UGA fan because my parents were in grad school there when I was born, and my mom remained a fan all of her life.
