Tigers are playing down to their competition. Two ugly wins against Houston. And Avila's homerun came just when I was going to suggest that Detroit sit Avila and give Pena the majority of playing time.

BTW....Raburn was 0-5 yesterday and Tribe fans have put their "Raburn for the Hall of Fame" petition on hold.
BTW#2 - it appears that Boesch will have more time to impress Yankee fans with his swing. Granderson has yet to start a rehab assignment, and they don't expect Teixeira back until after Memorial day. (Boesch's BA is down below .200)
BTW#3 - QBerry is hitting under .200 at Toledo. (He does have 11 SB)

There's a lot of Tiger fans that seem to think if the Tiger don't kick the shit out the team they beat it wasn't a good game......it is a long season and we are going to lose 60 games or so......and that would be a great season.....

As for beating the shit out of teams....I think the Astros ARE one team they should steamroll. Poor pitching and little hitting. Game 2 was exciting...but it sure wasn't a work of art.

Austin Jackson is still listed as DTD but I think he's ok.
