Paul had the first 15 points of the game. Lots of point blank misses from everyone else. The peas in the refs whistles are going to wear out, calling any taps against the Jazz and doing Ray Charles impersonations on the other end.

Corbin actually gets called for a t, about 10 points too late though.

Sydney Lowe right there, clip board, itemizing his deductions. I wouldn't try for the EIC credit this year.

Two great assists from Burks, both lead to slams.

These refs are weak. They call bad calls, Ty gets a T, they start calling thing for us, Chris Paul complains about offensive foul, so they call a bad foul on Paul Millsap. :gaah:

Why do we roll the ball down the court with 50 seconds left and then dribble the clock out? Why not just dribble the damn ball down the court? :gaah:

I'm sorry, I just don't like the roll down when defences don't just go and challenge it, make them pick it up, make them use some clock so they don't get 24 seconds in the halfcourt. Who knows? Maybe they rush and kick it out of bounds or you steal it? Or piss them off so that they don't try it again? Why do we just sit back and give them that advantage? They wouldn't do it for no advantage, would they?...

But for us to do it when it makes no sense? Again, :gaah:

Well, a win would be big tonight. I have a feeling CP3 will start victimizing our old PGs. Any word on Mos return?

Question: Are we using Favors in his limited ways as we would if he were our Jefferson? Can we find out what he does when Jefferson is not on the court? (5 player lineups) Do we use him like we would in the future. I mean, if we did, we could see whether we need to resign Jefferson or Millsap. We could look at per 36 minutes, etc. Right now, Jefferson scores more and all that, but Favors is being used as a complementary role, is he not? What happens when he plays Jefferson's role? (I don't mean Jefferson's game, I just mean as a main guy.)

Jazz will probably just maintain the status quo now, so as to keep both Al and Paul pacified with the hope that one or the other will resign at a discount.

Could we start Favors for the second half every once in awhile or would that just alienate people? I think it would. If you don't upset the apple cart things can work out a little. When Kaepernick came in while Smith was starting, it messed up the offense. Basketball is different, but if you do something like change starting lineups, that could mess things up. The only reason not to trade them earlier is to either use them this playoffs or to try and resign them. Changing up lineups, can't do it, can it?

Down 10 in the blink of an eye. If I had to describe Marvin's year it would be irrelevant.

Not a good second half start. Just like the first. The Clippers started out 17-6 in the first and now, 11-0 in the second.

I don't think they will now.

Can the Jazz make an offer now to Al or Paul, or do they have to wait until the end of June? I wonder if management is allowed to approach and have frank talks with the players. Like before the trade deadline, is there anything that precludes them from talking the future with a player? Can the meet and just lay it out there? Listen, do you want to be in UT? Are you willing to be reasonable with your next contract?

I wish we could have traded him and Bell for someone. hat do you think happens to Bell after this year? Does someone else sign him? Does he retire? Does he have to wait until late, when no options are available, to sign elsewhere. I liked Bell, but his difficulty makes me wish that he somehow pays for it.

I bet they can by rule, but I doubt they would. The Jazz might want to see who else out there is willing and they may have to wait for a few weeks into the off-season to know. Or it might be for look, to get Jefferson to negotiate, use our leverage. Say, you can come back here and be the man, make a little more or we'll get this other guy. Right now, we don't have that. Why would the other guy express interest here? Same reason, leverage. They'll imply they could leave if their teams don't add more. They can't do that now because of tampering, etc.
