Of course they showed the Lynch quote!
Of course they showed the Lynch quote!
That has nothing to do with it. To assume every non bcs team that posts an 11 or 12 win season will be what bsu was is ridiculous. That's what Thai rule does. They were the exception, not the rule.
Don't open your mouth if you're not willing to have it thrown back in your face.
it was actually Utah that started the rule, fact is it's very difficult to know what non-AQ is deserving and which isn't until they're in there
thus the rule is needed.
NIU is only the 2nd non-AQ to lose to an AQ school(TCU lost to Boise State for a 3rd non-AQ loss)
No kidding!
Well he knows he saw it on the field

Just saying something needs to be amended. Mostly voters need to take more than a record into account if they're going to bump a deserving AQ school out of a bcs bowl.
Remember the one thread on ESPN a Bama fan started after Utah was up 21-0 on them? It was along the lines like "No way Bama loses to these scrubs."
That thread lasted a while.![]()
Oklahoma's blame shouldn't be on NIU, or the voters
just on the several schools in front of NIU that all started losing late in the year to put them up there
in a normal year NIU would have finished 20th or so.
Lots of blame to go around, but its fair to say the wrong team got selected.
Did they post it in the stadium?
Naw. ESPN did.
That be something if they did though!
I want some orange juice and vodka.
You like dem screwdrivers huh?!
How bout a Mexican screwdriver?? (go to last definition)

Earlier on this thread, I was wrong about saying that the MAC has a winning record against BCS conference teams. Actually, the record was 8 -20 as someone pointed out.
However I am correct in this statistic.
Talking about Oklahoma deserving to be in the Orange Bowl instead of NIU.
NIU graduates 71 % of its white athletes and 63% of its Black athletes.
Oklahoma, not so much. It graduates 47% of its athletes. So think about that. More than half of the Oklahoma team will never be able to say they are Oklahoma alumni.
Got to be proud of that "real team" somebody mentioned.
