That has nothing to do with it. To assume every non bcs team that posts an 11 or 12 win season will be what bsu was is ridiculous. That's what Thai rule does. They were the exception, not the rule.

it was actually Utah that started the rule, fact is it's very difficult to know what non-AQ is deserving and which isn't until they're in there

thus the rule is needed.

NIU is only the 2nd non-AQ to lose to an AQ school(TCU lost to Boise State for a 3rd non-AQ loss)

However I am correct in this statistic.

Talking about Oklahoma deserving to be in the Orange Bowl instead of NIU.
NIU graduates 71 % of its white athletes and 63% of its Black athletes.

Oklahoma, not so much. It graduates 47% of its athletes. So think about that. More than half of the Oklahoma team will never be able to say they are Oklahoma alumni.
Got to be proud of that "real team" somebody mentioned.
