read on twitter yesterday that when asked if that was the end of the Caps moves this offseason, GMGM said simply "Yes." So, pack it in for the summer caps fans, apparently that's it. Still a great team, but why not at least try to pick up a Dman or something? just weird to me i guess.

ahhh ritari, you know were just joshing with ya. are you a little irked though? i mean, sure every fan likes to see new blood, because it's exciting, but are you happy they stayed put? IMO i'd be ticked, but only because i subscribe to the theory that if you have lost (multiple years now) that some change is necessary. i guess they have that in goal...but still.

That being said, if we don't make another move before the season ends, I'm going to be giving GMGM a quizzicle look, but I gotta believe in him. He really, unlike many irrational fans think, has made the right moves along the way

I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING THE ICE WITH THIS TEAM. aS i SAID EARLIER, IF WE CAN TRY THE KIDS IN HERSHEY OUT IN THE SECOND LINE CENTER ROLE FOR A WHILE AND SEE IF SOMETHING WORKS AT A SERIOUSLY DISCOUNTED PRICE (had it on caps and not rewriting sorry) it would be great. If not, we bank the cash until the trade deadline and make a move there. i am pretty sure that we will stay comfortably in a playoff spot with this lineup as it is. Imagine if Perrault or Johansson turn into the next Giroux or something like that and we have a solid cup contedner at 8 mil UNDER the cap. it wopnt be too hard to resign all those guys we are going to need to down the road.
