My last dumb thread for the night..but seriously wondering.

Assuming braxton miller lights it up the rest of the year, should a team on probation be allowed to have a kid win a heisman?

If there are no rules against it then I don't see why not. It's pretty much a regular season award..

Most people have decided who they're gonna vote for before they see the CCG's.

It does hurt his case that he won't be playing in the CCG though.

Man Tie Tay Oh

I'd like to see him win it. But in all reality Optimus Klein is the front-runner, obviously.
Braxton's time will come within the next couple of years.

What a weird Heisman year. I don't think any of these kids truly deserve it.

Miller is completing just 56% of his passes, that's bullshit. You would think his running ability would help his passing a bit, I guess not. He's doesn't deserve any award.

I would rank it...

1. Collin Klein
2. Teddy Bridgewater
3. AJ Mccarron
4. Manti Teo
5. Kenjon Barner

I like Teo, he's got a nice story, but I feel like there are other LB's out there that are at least close to him. I don't really believe he would be in the race if not for his story.

Gio Bernard :noidea:

I mentioned this in another thread, but he does deserve an invite (he shouldnt win, because he missed two games)

He is leading the country in all-purpose yards per game.
He is leading the country in points per game.
He is third in rush yards per game.
He is averaging almost 8 yards per touch (rush/reception)
Tied for 2nd in PR TDs
He is leading the country in PR average.

Collin Klein has played two defenses with a pulse and his team has scored 24 and 27 points, with his QB Rating at about 125.

Manti Teo is the only player in America deserving of a Heisman this year.

I really dont understand how AJ McCarron is getting so overlooked. Im not saying he deserves it, but a lot of times QBs of the best team get mentioned when they didnt perform as well as AJ McCarron.

Suh was more deserving than anyone has been recently.. Teo would be a good pick for a defender to finally win

Id probly just give it to Klein tho.. its not always about the stats
