So let me get this straight. We don't call any timeouts or give ourselves a shot to win the game in regulation.....because we'd rather give MSU the best field position they've had all day after all we can scrape together is a field goal?

Danny Obrian is less aware than a deaf and blind man...if they ever put him back on the field they should be shot for stupidity and have less awareness than Obrian...pathetic...

This Oline got their asses handed to them all game, they're so freaking soft...

After the heat Bielema got for going for the win in regulation last year, he didn't really have a choice.

And i'll just say that although this game was frustrating, and definitely the worst home loss of the Bielema era, it really doesn't matter. The bigger issue is the health of our team and especially Stave. Canada needs to use Abbredaris more (zero jump balls thrown to him today, which is a shame) and Marquis Mason better be punished for his awful penalty that cost us the game.

Beyond that, we are what we thought we were. A very flawed team with a weak line that gets warn down as games go along, who happen to be playing in the worst division in B1G history with a very good shot at the Rose Bowl.

Well that sucked. Nothin like being ahead half way through the game, but still knowing you are going to lose because Stave got hurt and O'Brien is beyond awful.

Seriously why no Curt Phillips?

Anyway, I survived Madison but am still hungover from Saturday. And stuck in Chicago because all the flights back to NYC are cancelled.

Jump balls thrown to Abbredaris? Okay....

Yea it did suck, BApple. I honestly felt exactly the same as you did. It just had that, "We're going to do our best to fuck this up" feel. That punt. Wow guys. It almost makes me paranoid about the mob, to be honest. Because the punt last year was just stupid as hell, too. Remember when that guy just stood there and didn't bother blocking that Spartan, and Nortman just lined up his shot and kicked like he never saw anything coming?

Yea, this was kind of like that. Woops let me just fuck up this snap. Oh look at that now absolutely nobody lands a block. :noidea: FUCK YOU, special teams...

The second year of the B1G having divisions. Quite a history there buddy.

LOL just giving you shit. I understand what ya mean. Enjoy that title game given to you on a silver platter. Hopefully we meet up there again.

I hope we don't play Nebraska again. Not because we'd lose, but because we might win. It's hard to beat a team twice in a year.

I honestly don't want to see this Wisconsin team somehow make it to Pasadena to get creamed. It's hopeless with Danny O'Brien at QB.

It's a damn shame. You guys will be likely going into the ccg 4-4 conference.

We aren't there yet but either way you will not get anymore than what is fed to you with the silver spoon.
Sorry but regardless of it being Michigan or Nebraska I don't see you winning that game, Stave or Obrien.

Considering the Badgers almost and should have beaten Nebraska in Lincoln with Stave, I don't know why you're so confident about that. Remember that he went down in that game too, so O'Brien ran the final drive and couldn't do anything.

Well stave is out for the season so it doesn't matter. O'Brien isn't winning anything relevant.

No argument here. Like I said before, I don't even want Wisconsin to pull one out of their ass in Indy just to get embarrassed in Pasadena. Before Stave was injured I thought they might actually be making progress, and by Jan 1 who knows? But no, O'Brien isn't winning anything.

Because the ball was given to you on our 23 when Burkhead fumbled-7 points, our 43 after stopping you and getting a roughing the kicker - 7 points and on our 13 when Martinez fumbled - 7 points.

That is 21 points we gave you on short fields. And what was the score again?

Also without the short field Stave couldn't do anything either, the reason I feel that it doesn't matter whether O'Brien or Stave is in for the ccg or Nebraska or Michigan.

You will be a 4-4 (conference) team and have the chances of a 4-4 team.

You are absolutely correct. Wisconsin can never avenge a previous loss in the B1G Championship Game.

And you make it sound like Nebraska committing turnovers and stupid penalties is some kind of fluke. It isn't. I agree we'll probably lose, but to dismiss us as not having a chance because of a game where we looked like the better team when our line held is a mistake.

And to the Badger fans, O'Brien can win football games for us but he needs time. When he has to throw it quickly he doesn't have the ability to see the field properly and he settles for a two yard dumpoff. If (and it's a huge if) the O-Line can wake up, this team will be able to thrive under DOB.

Abbredaris was also dominant and kept winning jump balls in the first half. Then Matt Canada quit giving him chances in the second. You never once proved you had any way to stop him, and if Canada has half a brain, he will look at the tape and see that.

And Stave had 213 yards on 23 throws. Not exactly a decent definition of "doing nothing."

No I am not saying Nebraska's turnovers are flukes. I am saying that Wisconsin was only in that game because of them. We are improving in our turnover margin and by December I would hope it is manageable.

Regarding the lines, not sure what you mean. Are you saying your line made you a better team??
Ball averaged something somewhere around 2.5 yards per carry and Stave was sacked 3 times.
Martinez and Abdullah averaged 7 & 8 and Burkhead was 5. Martinez was sacked once.
I am not sure where your line made you a better team.

I give you Abbredaris but he is one weapon and our secondary is stout enough I am confident we would of adjusted.

Stave did have 213 yards but that was 12/23 and 54 of those yards were on pass in the first drive. One good drive, I give you that. One good drive that did not start with a short field we gave.

Stave had 12 drives.

6 punts
1 extended due to PI
1 extended due to RTK,
1 missed field goal
2 short fields (our red zone).
11

One good sustained drive, with a 54 yard pass.

O'Brien on his one drive was 3/4 passing and moved the ball from the 10 to the 50.

If Ball hadn't fumbled it very well may of been your best drive. That was one hell of a hit though. I guess my wording would of been better if I said "Stave didn't do anything special"
