Self-proclaimed Asshole
What's your point? I never once said Oklahoma deserved to be in the title game that year. In fact, I'm pretty sure if you do some digging you'll find a couple of posts where I said they didn't deserve it.
It doesnt work this way. You dont get credit for losing a close game. But why is beating Georgia any better than beating Texas Tech? Georgia hasnt beaten anyone...Am I suppose to assume preseason polls were legit? Oh, and Oklahoma beat Texas Tech a week after a big game. And Texas Tech lost before a big game, can i use the big game argument and say that TT was looking past their opponent when they lost and say that Oklahomas win was more impressive since it was right after a big game?

I almost didn't count this poll it is so ridiculous and is clearly anti-SEC/Big12. 3 MAC teams ahead of Oklahoma? 3 Big East teams in the top ten?
Honestly your polls have always been terrible, one more shitty poll and I am not counting it anymore
Bump for Volbound
Georgia has beaten Missouri and Tennessee which would both be 6-1 teams in the ACC or Big East, their OOC performances have proven that.
My only point is that it doesn't make sense to just assume that Georgia is better than Texas tech. Tech has a better win (wvu is 5-1 in a good conference).
Clemson and UNC have actually beaten people. Clemson nearly took out FSU at their stadium as well.
You have to realize that some bad BCS teams like Vanderbilt or Missouri for example would win some of the leagues like the MAC or Conf USA.
Not to mention the fact that we have a better offense and defense statistically and what could be argued as a better loss unless you just care about that number next to a team's name in preseason polls.
Fify
Im going to try to simplify the Ohio / Clemson / UNC argument
Ohio /__________ Clemson /________ UNC (loss to Wake)
@ Penn State /___ vs. Auburn /______ @ Miami
@ Marshall /_____ vs. Ball State /_____ vs. VT
vs. Buffalo /_____ @ Boston College /_ vs. ECU
Ohio has had seven chances to lose games to teams that are on about the same level as Wake, yet they havent. We don't know for sure that Ohio would lose to Florida State, but even if you ignore Clemson's loss it doesn't IMO look like Clemson has a much better resume.
Trolls
I'll simplify it.... nobody cares...
