You could make a case for k-state at #2.
Not after they lose and they will.

I want to see Nate's face when he finally has no choice but to rank Oregon #1 or #2.
I hope you're right. They need to lose for Oklahoma to win the conference and get back in the national picture. I could see Oregon incurring a loss too.
If Florida beats SC, they'd have to be #2 right? I can't believe it...but that's where it is.

Maybe. USCe would be a two loss team at that point. Really doesn't matter. It's pretty evident that there will be at least one SEC in the NCG. The voters don't drop them when they lose so they just keep getting "quality wins"
Total horse shit.
I agree it's horse shit but tell me it isn't true.
It is true. What's amazing is nobody talks about it. Everybody is too busy gargling SEC balls.
SEC!
Any team from ANY other league loses a game and they drop 8-15 places. SEC team loses they drop 2-5. They even stay in the top 10.
If Oregon loses to ASU this weekend I guarantee they'll be no higher than 13. If Oregon was an SEC team we'd drop to 7 or 8 at the MOST.
Sounds good.
The thing is you think it sounds great right now because it benefits you, but it won't always and then you SEC'ers will be crying like babies about how it's not fair.
And whatever conference that does benefit will be living it up when it happens. At this point, if Bama keeps taking care of business they're not gonna drop and because of that I couldn't care less what team moves up or down or how far nor which conference they're in. Why would I not like the situation?
I didn't say anything about bama. I was referring to the system as a whole, and its wrong. It's the same bullshit that got bama into the national game undeservedly last year. You SEC'ers think its great when you're in high cotton. The difference is others have the balls to admit its wrong.
It is great being in high cotton, would you not like your conference to get love like the SEC has been getting? At some point it's gonna change but until that day I'm not gonna worry about it.... and I doubt I'll be crying as much as some do now when that day does come.
