GREAT weekend for the PAC. Looked strong on all fronts and looks to be a conference that will give the national stage a run for their money. USC and Oregon clearly atop the conference and from there it looks like Oregon can run through anyone. Couldn't be more pleased or confident about the Ducks this season after that woodshed beating and I wasn't impressed with USCs win.

The rest of the conference looked solid.

I am still upset about Colorado. man wtf. WHY IN THE FUCKING BLUE HELL ARE THESE GUYS IN THE PAC-12?!??! They offer SHIT we as a ConfereERENCE get NO positive from these guys. LarRRY Scott has been an amazing comish for the PAC, but I seriously say that taking FUCkING COLoRADOO was the STUPIDEST decision and hinders his legacy.

This program deserved to rot in the BIG12 or if they wanted to leave PAY THEIR OWN FUCKING WAY OUT OF THE BIG!2 and go TO A PIECE OF SHIT WAC conference AND TRY AND GET 4 wins THERre.

FUCK! SERiousLY COLORADO GO FUCKIN LEAVE THE CONFERNECE AND TRY TO WIN SHITLESS in NAIA or something. what a bunch of ASsHOLE wipes the BUffaloes are.

God i i am just so frustrated with this program being apart of the pac-12 it makes no sense.

Yeah and Arizona goes into overtime

Stanford wins by 3

UDud needs a 4th quarter stop and two idiotic missed tries for 2 pt conversions by the other team to win.

Colorado loses

WSU gets blown out

Yeah great weekend for the PAC.

Oregon won. That's all that matters to me.

Am I mistaken, or did Oregon give up 30 points to Arky St? As for Colorado, they were considered a prize because of the size of the Denver market.

Stanford was that great? Arizona was that great? Washington was that great? Washington St and California, oops. Arizona St beat a scrub team. UCLA looked good, but they played Rice and Beans.

Yay another box score football fan that doesn't bother watching the game but feels comfortable talking about how it went based on score.

Oregon took out the starters in the middle of the SECOND quarter. At that point the score was 50-3.

That show that Oregon doesn't have much depth.

Yeah damn those 16 true freshmen we played and the 4th stringers that couldn't hold off the first stringers from a 10 win team.

We should boot them off the team.

Alabama pulled a lot of it's starters also. Giving up that many points is still not good.

Good for them. Did they pull them all in the middle of the second quarter and play 16 true freshmen? Did they have the fourth string players in from the 4th quarter on? Yes FOURTH string.

If you didn't watch, it's okay. Just don't pretend to be able to make educated comments on the game by a box score.

I guess that should have been UO.

And, unlike yeyo, I am somewhat concerned about our depth...however, it's the first game and we have 4 more cupcakes before the meat of our schedule. Lots of time to get things ironed out.

Sorry, I was wrong we actually played: 17 freshmen total, including seven true freshman on Saturday night.

Before halftime, the Ducks had used two quarterbacks, four running backs, 10 receivers and 11 different linemen.

Byron Marshall, the third running back, had 12 carries in the second quarter, three of them on fourth downs that he converted, and finished with a team-high 24 rushes.

Keanon Lowe, who didn’t have a catch last season, had four in the first half, and redshirt freshman B.J. Kelley chipped in with his first two collegiate receptions. Two of Oregon’s true freshmen receivers each had a catch in the first half, and two more did in the second half as 14 different Ducks had a reception.

source:

Ducks show that they?re plenty deep, turning to reserves against Red Wolves | Oregon?s substitutes get a lot of face time after the Ducks build a big first-half lead

Depth can always be improved. That's why playing these guys early is huge. Even if they didn't play perfect and the other team's first stringers scored it was a positive.

Hopefully, next week, we will get to see Oregon's speedsters return a kickoff.
