Wouldn't exactly call that a typical GIDP for MY.... Ball was struck well, sounded like the bat broke.... It's baseball. He's had a few nicely struck balls the past couple games. Just nothing is falling....

That excuse flies if it was just a week or so, this has been pretty much since April

The norm has been pretty terrible with flashes of goodness as opposed to vice versa

doesnt matter. MY hitting 2nd is at least one guaranteed double play per game. so frustrating watching him kill rally after rally after rally all season long, but that's what leaders do.......

yeah, but continual weak contact that doesnt reach the outfield will do that. and thats what his last double play was, weak ass contact that doesnt leave the infield, which is also the only reason MY has a hit today
