I will say Wash's decision to make Murphy an every day player looks to be the right one. He's been playing out of his mind lately.

I've been keeping an eye on the team's stats and Murphy has looked great all year. After his slow first half last year he was beasting then too. I'm not sure why he continuously gets overlooked. I think he's one of the best all around players we have on the team.

Aside from the two run homer Holland pitched a very good game. Albeit against a very weak Cleveland team.

Will honestly say I was wrong about Murphy as an everyday player. I actually thought Murphy would be gone by the deadline in a trade for pitching.

I just wish the decision was to use him more at DH and play Gentry in CF ... who is TEX best defensive OFer and one who if he got the PT I think would put up some very nice OBP numbers in front of the sluggers. Just can't do that with only 4 OFers on the roster.

well we have 5 OF'ers now but i don't expect it have any affect on who Wash puts in the lineup. he's staying with his comfort zone

Wouldn't exactly call that a typical GIDP for MY.... Ball was struck well, sounded like the bat broke.... It's baseball. He's had a few nicely struck balls the past couple games. Just nothing is falling....
