In Yankee Stadium, Robbie Ross is the Guy that should have been called on to face Swisher and Texeira. Turned both of them around to their weaker side. But Kuroda was Great Tonight. Got only 2 Hits. Only Thing the Rangers could do was be 0-0 after 9 Innings and try to beat their Bullpen. Didn't make too much a difference tonight. The Rangers scored no runs. Harrison really battled but Kuroda was even better.

That's just it. This is the most inconsistent collection of baseball talent in MLB. Nobody could do a better job with a line up that will swing at anything near the strike zone in a two strike count. Never seen a team that could look so good one night and so dumb and uninterested the next. Anybody who can get this bunch to play to the record they have to date this year has got to be more than a clubhouse guy. Hell, if all it took was being a clubhouse guy MY would have them undefeated this year.

You're kidding me right? You think it's a miracle that wash is able to win with these players? With the talent on this time you or I could manage this team to a winning record. You want to give him all the credit for their good play and assign him no responsibility for their shitty play. Unbelievable.

B/c they would probably have a better record with Wash if they weren't rolling Young out at DH every night, basically they are getting almost no production out of one of their lineup spots

The other 8 hitters are usually that good, that they are carrying Young's sorry butt for the majority of this season, and this isn't even to mention when he's allowed to put a glove on his hand

This isn't like being dealt an unfair hand b/c of injuries or suspensions or being handcuffed by the FO, this is totally within his control and yet he chooses to do nothing

Not a single thing there I disagree with. I don't think anybody has caught more flack than me concerning my opinions of Young. Should be hitting 8th as a bench player.

Yep that what I wrote a couple of posts ago. Also see Ogando's history in Yankee Stadium. Its not pretty and Wash should have known that.
Your right Kuroda was lights out

The problem is, his refusal to optimize his lineup might eventually cost the Rangers the HFA throught the AL playoffs and to purposely and knowingly do this is just crazy

Romeo, I'm surprised you can manage your way home.

i completely agree, i was listening to GAC on espn radio and they brought up the point that if wash pulls MY out of the everday lineup he might lose the clubhouse. i would hope that the team would understand that this would make their lineup, and defense, much better and wouldnt bitch about it. then they interviewed murph and he made it sound like the club would bitch if this ever happened

It sounded like he would bitch. It sounded like the way he got defensive there may already be a bit of a riff in the clubhouse about it. My guess is there are some who think he should see a reduction in playing time.

Listening to Emily Jones' post-game interview of Wash, it's clear she is hesitant to question his decisions.

Exactly. We struggle at Yankee stadium and it would be tough to beat Detroit without HFA. We would have to face Verlander and Sabathia in games 1 and 5 on the road assuming we would face either one of these teams in the ALCS.

The entire dfw media is afraid to press wash. Truth is they need to be holding his feet to the fire right now.

The Rangers are 4-12 in their last 16 games there and have lost 7 straight. Probably enough bad history to keep the entire 25 man roster out of NYC.

Rangers Ballpark in Arlington isn't too much different from Yankee Stadium. Situation would be the same. You need a Lefty to turn both Swisher and Texeira around to the Right Side. Especially with the Home Run Porch.

Ogando had no business pitching in that situation tonite with an era over 12.00 in that stadium. All it did was turn Swisher and Tex around to bat to their power side. Boom Game over. I would have to think that Wash knew Ogando has sucked in this park

Nobody answered my previous post. Is this the first time we have been shut out this season? I can't remember another time.
