GAC (galloway & company) asked Murph his thoughts on what Ben Rogers was saying to do earlier. Which was the topic of Benching Young.

They wanted to know how it would go over in the locker room... and his thoughts on everything.

He got very defensive and said that you dont do that to someone of his caliber. That Young is the leader in the clubhouse..and doing so would shock the team.... and blah blah blah. The audio of it should be up later.

Only recent guy who spoke his mind was CJ on Bad Radio. I remember his thoughts about Teixeira in his final weeks before going to ATL.

Probably wouldn't have gone over well for Murphy been asked if he deserves all the playing time he's getting over more talented guys who have to sit.

If he responded defensively... then clearly it is a topic that is circling the clubhouse already.

Yeah, and Olt wasn't rewarded one bit for his pinch hit walk off. On a day where wash decides Moreland needs a half day off a whole week and a half back with the team he puts stone hands young in at first instead of Olt. JD cannot let wash continue to drag this team down.

I laughed at that call too....

For the record... i'm on the "give MY some time off / play Olt more / etc...and do not call up Profar" side.

Not saying to bench MY... as he is very valuable to the team... but some days off here and there wouldnt hurt things.
