Self-proclaimed Asshole
Josh... If you run that out you're probably safe. There's a clubhouse problem with this team and IMO it starts with Ron Washington. We gotta get rid of him.
I dont think Wash survives with an early exit in the playoffs.
How many damn grounballs are we going to hit to 3b. Between last nite and tonite I cant keep count

Yep I felt the same way about Kinsler last nite not running hard on a grounder
jesus, thats a popup anywhere else
Ron Washington was the manager of the Rangers for 2 trips to the Series. He does deserve some credit for that. And Wash can't make Yu or Holland throw strikes. And he certainly can't make MY be a better hitter or fielder at this point in his career.
But his recent lineups and his public "undressing" of players are 2 very ominous signs going forward. Napoli mashes at Fenway, and is 6-10 with 2 HRs off Lester, but he sits. Gentry has been a huge catalyst for our offense and hits lefties better than righties, but he sits. Kinsler is finally getting his bat going, but he sits. MY is looking at career lows all across his offensive numbers, and he plays, every single day.
And now he publicly criticizes Andrus and Oswalt. Regardless of their actions, Wash knows that those are things you handle behind closed doors. He KNOWS that.
Something is very amiss in that locker room right now. Wash has one job as the manager of the team: Put out the most capable team of winning a baseball game that particular day, and make wise, well-reasoned in-game decisions to further improve your team's chances of winning said game. He needs to be held accountable for not doing these things on a nightly basis, but he's not.

I don't live in the DFW area anymore. Is there anybody that covers the Rangers who is willing to ask the hard questions? I know they want as much access to the team. I get that. But after each game isn't there somebody that asks questions about the particulars of that game that would be able to ask some of the lineup questions we as fans all have? What about Durrett? Or does he have to play nice as well to keep his access?

Bad call by Anderson, Murphy would've made it easy
