I think Soto and Naps see a pretty good split of time at catcher in August heat

I think Olt gets a good amount of time splitting with Moreland at 1B in a platoon along with spelling Beltre at 3B

Young would seem to have to be the biggest loser with this move

with olt being brought up im not sure......soto will be dempsters personal catcher imo and probably one more start sprinkled in once week

on those days i see wash giving nap the dh(5 hr in last 10 games a believe) with olt at 1st(if he hits)..... with nap getting the odd day off for young

This is the kind of thing that could bring the team out of their funk

You know, I was posting on the other threads last night as the comeback was happening in the 8th and 9th. Decided not to post and jinx it. Then I gave up when the first HR in the top of the 10th happened, but I was thinking that this could be the spark to wake the Rangers up. This plus the pickup of Dempster might give the Rangers a new spark. Then the HR happened and looked like more of the same.

I was happy as hell when I got up with the kiddo at 2am and checked the phone to see we won, but not just 9-8! WOW

I was thinking that as well. Maybe he thinks it is the beginning of the season again? Remember he got out of the gate slow then turned into a beast. Hope he turns back into a beast soon.

Last night was just screwy though. Frieri NEVER gets hit, and he was hit hard last night. It was just one of those nights where the hitters were dialed in, and might have been the right conditions for the ball to carry to left.

I hope you're right. Joe has been such a breath of fresh air in the ninth this year. We'll need him to stay that way down the stretch.

After it was 6-0, I only checked in to see what the score was, I never actually saw the Rangers score a single run last night, until Andrus' double in extra innings

I wanted that Moreland shot up the middle to smack him dead in the ribs the other night....

They've got a crazy number of immature a-holes on their team: Trout with all of his douchey HR celebrations, Weaver who has long been a head case and loves to yell smack, Hunter who talks more trash and plays the race card more than just about any other player, Scoscia who is the fattest whining crybaby manager in the game, CJ with all of his immature social media trash talk and ridiculously over-inflated ego...

Add all that to how much they overpaid Albert Pujols and gladly took on Vernon Wells' bloated contract, the way they treated Napoli (in favor of Jeff f'ing Mathis), and the extremely jealous and hysterically bad spending habits of Arte Moreno, and it's really, really hard not to hate their team.

They've got a handful of decent-seeming guys on their team, but it's just the overall extreme lack of class displayed by many within their organization which makes them so despicable. I never thought I would say this, but I would actually cheer for the Yankees over them in a series.

And no mention of Albert fist pumping all the way around the bases in the 10th last night? It's too bad we have more class than that, or I would have hoped that Gentry or Ian would fist pump and scream all the way down the basepath in the bottom of the inning. Then maybe turned and asked Weaver there the F he was going?
