Probably hurt harder back then bc they werent used to getting beat down whereas now they are so used to getting beatdown that is probably wouldnt hurt as much

Our run defense can compete with the best of them, we have a young secondary and a terrifying QB situation that I'm worried about though.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. How's Oklahoma's run game, I hear a lot about Landry but I can't even name your running back. Which is giving me hope that it won't be all that hard to make the Sooners offense one dimensional...

Which will be the key to us winning or getting manhandled it seems to me.

What was really strange was back then the SEC teams didn't play everyone in their conference though it was only 10 teams like the Big 10 did.

Whaley is supposed to be back at full strength, he was doing great before he was injured. Finch is supposedly fully healed too, he wasn't at full strength last year but still led the team in rushing. Behind an experienced line they could be a lot better than last year.

Arkansas and Texas were in the same conference in 1980, the old Southwest Conference. Great list though.
