Brehaut> Matinez......... That is a fact....

...So your argument that you're scared of UCLA consists of their probable back up being better than martinez?

Setting aside the fact that that is a complete lie, A MAJORITY of the teams Nebraska has played and beaten have had better QB's than Taylor.

This will actually be one of the few games Nebraska plays where the opposing QB is actually worse than Tito.

Let's play a fun game Cheiflittlewhitedick/ags likes to play. Player A and Player B.

From 2010-'11

Player A

Passing: YDS: 2368, YPA: 6.8, TD: 12, INT: 9, QB Rating: 119.3

Rushing: YDS: 187, AVG: 1.7, TD: 6

All Purpose Yards: 2555 Total TD: 18

Player B

Passing: YDS: 3720, YPA: 7.7, TD: 23, INT: 15, QB Rating: 131.5

Rushing: YDS: 1839, AVG: 5.3, TD: 21

All Purpose Yards: 5559 Total TD: 44

Who is the better player there? Player A? Or Player B?

Also per PS: Nebraska is 6-1 vs UCLA since 1973.(‘93) NU won 14-13. The Cornhuskers are 7-3 since 1997 in the reg ssn road gms vs non-conf BCS tms.

Nebraska is more likely to lose to Arkansas State or Southern Miss than to UCLA

Just one prior meeting in 2009. NU won 38-9 with a 494-274 yd edge (+12 FD’s).
Into 2012, NU is 43-3 since 1996 hosting non-conf opp’s incl 9 str wins by an avg 29 ppg.

So ASU has about a .07% chance of topping Nebraska at home.

You're so silly Boise. :p

Also Nebraska is 2-1 vs Southern Miss, but did lose the L/meeting 21-17 in ‘04. SM scored 18 pts off 4 NU TO’s.
Last time the Cornhuskers lost a home opener was in ‘85, 17-13 loss to #17 FSU (26-0 since).

I didn't take that to mean he thought we would lose to those other teams, but it would be MORE likely in his opinion then losing to UCLA. He's agreeing with us that we aren't losing @ UCLA......

I take it that he thinks Nebraska will be undefeated OOC.....

You really do have a problem with reading comprehension don't you? :p

Mich St lost too much talent for them to reload, they won't beat the Irish and won't have a very good season, 8 wins max, book it.

LOL @ Brasky and the sunshine gang....

I have no reason to believe Nebraska will be as good as last year- which wasn't that good....

Until Martinez can prove to me that he is a asset not a liability, until Beck can be consistent- Until Bo can let beck be beck(last two go hand in hand). Until the O-line plays like a unit, until the o-line coaches quit making lineman dance around positions, until the D-line can produce.....

I shall make the huskers prove me otherwise...

I'm not buying into the preseason bullshit this year- at all. I was skeptical but hopeful last year- and it shit in my face.

This year- I'm just gonna go in thinking we lose 5 games and then maybe I'll be happy when we only lose our annual 4 games....

Michigan State lost some pieces on the offense but their defense is going to be really good.

Nebraska is not ASU.

yes sir

but I said that Arkansas State and Southern Mrs have a better chance at beating Nebraska than UCLA does, which means I am not predicting those teams to win, just that they're more likely than UCLA.

definitely not

Arkansas State will be good, but almost guaranteed to lose to Nebraska and Oregon.

they will beat everyone else for a 10-2 record.

could be in for a good top 25 ranking if they lose to Nebraska and Oregon by a decent margin.

Am I the only Hooplan picking Michigan over Alabama?

It looks that way, Mr. Champy. Though I don't expect we'll be hearing a B1G! B1G! B1G! chant from you.
