can someone explain the make whole provision in simplest terms?

Pretty tough to do matty when we don't know many of the technical details. Hopefully, we're learn more starting today.

can someone explain the make whole provision in simplest terms?

concept is:

- get to 50/50 right away
- the difference in the salary rollback from 57% on current contracts would be made up over time (ie. made whole)
- contention is where that 'make whole' comes from, ie. from future players' share when the 50% of the presumable larger pie allow for it, or from the owners, who have a surplus of that 7% now. the answer lies in the middle somewhere.


I hope that makes sense. basically a bandaid clause where they get to 50/50 now, but the current contracts are (eventually) honoured
