It's because our set plays, particularly on the PP, are entirely predictable and the Rangers don't mind risking their bodies. If they want to keep jumping in front of shots then make them pay for it and aim high a few times

We knew the Rangers would block tons of shots. We need to use more fake shots and work to get the puck down low and scramble in front of Lundy and stop shooting from 30 feet every time. Our strategy just sucks right now and our play is a little too sloppy. We won't beat Lundy without getting in his face.

(How fucking huge is Lundy's gear? good god)

Naaaa.....Flyers won game 1 too. Im not worried yet. We got a lot of rest but also were rusty and need to work on puck movement down low and be more physical. Way too many missed passes which usually is rust and just need to focus on negating the blocked shot advantage. I hope the coaches and players watch some footage from the Caps series since the Rangers really are a one-dimensional defensive team that relies on blocking shots to win. Lundy doesn't have to work too hard when opposing players have to alter their shots just to avoid a block. Gotta get it down low and get in his face and make this is a physical series.
