I love it. When we beat Flyers, it is sooooooooo damn feels good!
Kovy was great today. He had so many great passes. Few on Zajac, who just shot wide. And the last one was for the winner. Poni - keep it up from now on!

HELL YEAH!!! Loved the way we played tonight.... GREAT First period. We were chasing in the second, but no real damage done... we got away from what we were doing in the first. We righted the ship in the third and really took it to them in OT. We were on our heals in OT for sometime, but that was mainly due to the two PP they had. But the 3 minutes up to the OT goal was all us.... it looked like the first period again where the cryers were chasing.

I hope the rest until sunday does Kovy good. He looked good tonight, but not 100%. If you noticed on the OT game winner where the team was all in a mob, he was not in the mob but skating around pumping up the crowd.... no need to tweak any injury by getting mobbed by his team....


Great win, lets go ahead 3-1 come Sunday...

Were setup perfectly to clinch in Game 6 now..no way do I want to play a Game 7 in Philly. Even though we could win it. Win on Sunday and we play with no pressure in Game 5 and control the series even more.

Still gonna be a long series but being up 2-1 right now feels awesome. The way the D is shutting down Giroux and shutting out Hartnell and Jagr is vintage Devils!

gotta say too i was impressed with mark fayne play. he was really solid on jagr in the overtime didnt give me a single foot

also too i know he had some rought penalties but i love the addition of zidlicky so far. he is fiesty and physical and has some wheels great o vision too that is missing back there.

We all worried about what Lou gave up for Zidlicky, but right now, we are a clear cut winner in that trade. I think he is doing really good for us. He has no fear joining the rush. How many times we saw him circle the net, take it deep, etc.
Like you said, he just gets these penalties called on him, but lots of times, borderline calls.

Honestly, people say our defense is garbage, but future is looking good. We got Merrill coming up eventually. Harrold we all pick on, but he isnt bad and he got some quality experience these playoffs. Fayne is solid I think. Larsson is going to be awesome. I like A trains game, but he is getting slower it seems. Still good, like Kenny who never really had wheels on him. I just wish Atrain was better at positioning because that can make up for his lack of speed.
