all the best to Josi

Despite the public statements, I don’t think he plays meaningfully again. A friend of ours was diagnosed with POTS at 16 and couldn’t do live theater/theatre. Can’t see how Josi will hold up to the physical demands and travel.

A good career and maybe the best ever out of Switzerland. Nashville will put up banners and statues but IMO a little short of HOF.

The yardstick is Kevin Lowe and Josi at his worst is light years better than Lowe, so I wouldn't completely discount it.

Shame if this ends it for him. I love watching the guy.

Gotta wonder what Trotz did to deserve the avalanche of bad luck. Josi is one of the few "guarantees" on his roster.

Yeah I worked with someone who had POTS, while I still worked in an office. There were lots of times I would have to get them their coffee or stuff off the printer so they would have to get up and down a lot.

I don't see how Josi will still play unless they have it under control and with him being in good physical condition.

Honestly I think he is HOF worthy.

Biggest joke in HHOF history - Hey, I was like the 9th or 10th best player on an Oilers dynasty team, that's worthy of induction right?

I just took a quick look at the stats, Josi had more than double the goals and almost 300 more points than Lowe and played close to 300 fewer games than Lowe. Lowe is in, than Josi should also be in.

Wow surprised they would take that cap hit. Not that it is expensive but where are they going to to get the cap space to fill out their roster?
I figure Robertson is being shopped. I’m certain Marchment is although I’m not sure what the market is for an overpaid 3rd liner.

Amazed they are shopping Robertson, sadly that is honestly their only option.

Marchment will be gone by end of next season anyway, surprised they didn't use Duchene's cap space elsewhere and had that 4.5 free next season could have given them flexibility to sign Robertson long-tern next season.
