He has caught a lot of shit over the years for being overzealous. There's nothing wrong with being overzealous. Same as I give you shit for being over analytical. There is nothing wrong with it. If we were all the same or had the same OCD tendencies it would be seriously boring.

According to NBC Sports Boston, Vrabel took a call from the Dolphins, who tried to sell him BOTH Ramsey and Tyreek. When asked, Vrabel became a politician and responded, "I've taken more phone calls this week than I care to think about." People kept digging hoping to find a gold nugget. Rumor is that the Rivalry Jersey will be the 1969 red home jersey with updated alterations and some blue addidtions.

Boston Media has been pushing Vrabel about five or six players who have not shown up for other teams' Mandatory Mini-Camps.

Vrabel told them that he's aware and is always looking to improve the roster, BUT, He then said that he doesn't want to start looking at guys who are looking to break the bank. Hint. hint...........Looks to me that they intend to carry over that $60M in cap space for next year, when Christian Gonzales will be in the perfect spot to be offered a three year extension and have his current contract rewritten. 5/$125 $75 guaranteed with a $25M Bonus included up front??? He's not the only one.

I think we have the makings of a really good offense and should not be looking for a $22million/year WR who wants much more.

Given a choice for a position that's adequately staffed already I know...if you had to, would you take a 30 year old Ramsey, with or even without his burdensome contract, or a 34 year old FA Stephon Gilmore?

While I typically don't want expensive players who are on good contracts but unhappy with team, I excuse Ramsey somewhat, for not wanting to stay with the Dolphins. I would not pay his contract. Miami would have to chip in.

Carlton Davis didn't get much attention over the past two days and didn't give anyone any problems running routes. I know he was very good with the Lions, but I'm beginning to wonder if he's thinking he's all set. If Miami would pick up half of Ramsey's contract, then I'd give them a 2026 4th or a 2028 3rd. I think next year's fourth would be better than a very late 2028 third.

Gilmore looked pretty good when he was on the field last year. I think he could press Carlton and Marcus Jones.
