Really not happy about this. We all agree that the original first score wins was a bad rule. The amendment to change it to first drive td wins, otherwise both teams get a chance with the ball was better.

But now amending it again without a fix to the actual problem is a big problem. A coin toss should not win the game nor should it give a team an advantage. Until they fix that problem then amending rules is just a waste of all our times. Because all that will happen is that they will see that this is not a good fix and then “try” to fix it again.

If you want to keep the coin toss, then at least add strategy.
We don't all agree that the first scores wins was a bad rule

Fair. Truth is, I probably would rather have it that way that changing it the way they have been.

So much for the term "sudden death."

Thought the guided laser first down thingy (Hawk-Eye) sounds cool.

At least they didn't eliminate the Tush Push.

The Eagles have it down. Everyone else needs to quit whining and figure it out.

Or just STFU and figure something else out.

Easy, the defense just needs to stack gaps and push people into the OL to stop it...oh wait, that's a penalty when defenders use teammates to gain leverage....

Take the pussy cuffs off the defense if you want to keep the ass-fisting plays on offense.

"Just stop the offense" is no longer a valid rebuttal when years of rule changes have made it virtually impossible to stop.

Can you imagine a bunch of teams executing that boring shit on offense every week? Novelty will wear off and it'll become a detriment to the league's entertainment value

So the Vikings are flying from London to Dublin I am guessing. At least they gave them back to back weeks

I think I heard somewhere that they will just stay out there the whole time.

this might be my favorite of all the charts you do Joe- appreciated!
Thanks.
Gotta say tho, i dont think i ever did the actual rushing attempt numbers in a chart before? I always used percentages to compare the RB and WR ratios.

This chart sheds a defferent perspective.

Which teams ran the ball?
Here are RB only rush attempts for each team.
And this is all the RB on the team. Even FB.

It does certainly tell a story. LV and CLE both used high draft capital on replacing what they had (no surprise). NYG at 3rd worst was a bit surprising until I thought, well, they just sucked anyway so that may have been 50%+ of their plays..

All 3 of those teams earned their draft position for 2025 (as did my titans :tsk: )

The one surprise for me was JAX. Bigsby had a skosh more than Entienne. Regretting i didnt drill down on this sooner - like BEFORE our rookie draft.

Pit was a bit surprising to me, I had assumed a bit more of an even split between Naj and Warren. Not 50/50, but closer than nearly 60/20

Does make me feel better about taking Kaleb.
The other surprise was Bucky. Imagine what he could do with a higher ratio of touches?

He did dominate touches once he took over the RB1 role from white. Early season learning curve and white's receiving chops limited his snaps first half
