Think your right. For the last few weeks how many times has this offense gone into the 6th or 7th inning with zero to one run and just 3 or 4 hits.
Hard to watch this every night.

If you really want to get Chris Young riled up, report something that is 100 percent not true.
The Texas Rangers‘ president of baseball operations was still miffed Monday by a USA Today report that said Rocker could transition to closer once he returns from the 15-day injured list.

It’s never been discussed, Young said. Manager Bruce Bochy also denied the report. Rocker threw three innings Friday in a rehab start with Double A Frisco and has never worked out of the bullpen.
“I don’t know where that came from,” Young said.

Both(Gray and Bradford) could return sooner if the Rangers put them in the bullpen rather than stretching them out as starters. Gray said that he would be open to being a reliever for exactly that reason, to get back sooner and help the team.

While Rocker has been ruled out as a closer, don’t be surprised if Gray is considered for the job currently being held by left-hander Robert Garcia.

You mean like when there was truth to the idea of Teodo being groomed to be a reliever. Feliz as well, I guess. And they have been asked about Gray over the last few months.

Mahle, Leiter and Corbin next 3. Then degrom on Sunday. I would like to see Sunday be a BP day or a spot starter with Monday an off day. That would give both deGrom and Eovaldi a couple extra days of rest. They need to start managing their innings. Rocker soon and Bradford by end of June will help too.

Eovaldi was on pace for 196 IP before last nights game. Degrom 176.
The team will definitely have to pull back on the starts or IP
