Underwood might be elite.. Michigan hasn’t had a dominant QB since… well, it’s been a long time
I LOVE his potential, but I’m not betting on a true freshman. I hope I’m pleasantly surprised. Would love to see that streak move up toward 2500!

Yawn dude.

Your brand of football is tarnished for life by choosing to cheat to win.

You couldn't legit beat Ohio State, until this year, and your fabled Michigan Man had to cheat to win.

He couldn't take the heat and had to go to the NFL.

If the NOA was nothing but a hand slap, Michigan would have taken it. But we know why they won't as it will effect their tainted championship.
And your school even admits to cheating.
Nobody “cheated”… we know sign stealing is done by all teams.. just through different ways.

If you’re dumb enough to not change your signs throughout the year, you’d be deserving to be exploited. Teams change their signs a lot. OSU fans act like once a team has signs, they are written in stone and cannot be changed.

We know OSU and Purdue have each other Michigans signs. That was legal. Getting them from in person scouting was not. To me I don’t really care if you’re just doing the same thing in a different way. I know as an OSU fan you have to try to ignore context and make this as a big distinguishing factor, but it’s not.

Meanwhile, Michigan beat OSU, Alabama, and Washington after allegations came out, so those were legit wins straight up. Go cry to momma about it if you don’t like it

The NCAA needs to join the 21st century and not rely on posters and smoke signals for their play signs. Let them use radio helmets.

I can agree they might have won those games by legit means. Not the others, though, and they did cheat. Really no getting around it.

Should a title or games be vacated? Not sure and wouldn't even care about the games if a UM fan.

Is scouting signs cheating?

It’s not. There’s just a dumb outdated rule that the rest of the jealous big 10 is trying to exploit.

At the end of the day, all teams scout signs. Whether it’s via video or coach to coach. It’s just a technicality that in-person is illegal.

If you want to slap our wrist, go ahead. But OSU fans making this a big deal is hilarious

if they broke the rules they clearly cheated. Likely a reason no other team in the same mess UM is now. I mean, isn't it worse than guys selling tattoos? Obviously it is, as NCAA knew they were doing this and still let them play in a bowl game.

Teachnically yes, but it offered them no advantage compared to other legal means of stealing signs.

Which makes me roll my eyes when someone says they “cheated”, or did anything that everyone else doesn’t already do.

It’s like having a rule that you can’t use a bong to smoke weed, but you can use a blunt. And the bluntsmokers judge the bong hitter as breaking the rules. Like, guys, you’re all pot heads doong the same thing. There’s no moral high ground

a lot of work to go through to cheat for no advantage, my friend. But whatever they decide to do as punishment I wont complain

1. You’d have to explain the advantage
2. I’m not saying it was smart
3. Is stealing signs bad or not
4. If you keep the same signs all year, shouldn’t you be held accountable? If you run the same defense every time, that’s on you when you get burned

Its not OSU fans, its college football fans in general. Connor Stallions being on the sidelines at the CMU game in disguise took it to the next level.
The title should be vacated for sure.

Claiming "everyone else is doing it" is not a defense.

Again....a lot of work to go through for no advantage. Your team cheated and got caught. They can serve their punishment - whatever it is - and move on. If it's a slap on wrist so be it.

I'm not a fan of vacating stuff, make the post infraction penalty more stringent instead

Why?

A team cheated in order to win? The integrity of the game was violated. How can that not be punished.

Allowing Michigan to cheat and letting them to get away with it is absurd. Simply telling teams not to do it is not a deterent. Why punish other teams but not Michigan? Is it so the Big 10 can claim the title? Lame..

Nice excuse. And moving the goal posts.

Even your administration admits you cheated. Your program deserves to have the nuclear option done to them.

Glad to see that Ohio State drove you all to cheating.

Though Michigan disputed the severity and the NCAA's methodology in its investigation and NOA findings, the Wolverines did acknowledge in their response that some impermissible in-person scouting occurred, "though less than the (NCAA) claims."

Embrace what your team does to win. Cheat.

Glad that Michigan fans have to keep on making excuses for the cheating.

Are you not afraid of the Michigan football program just not existing after all the penalties come forward?

When is the NCAA investigation going to wrap up? Anything less than vacated wins and title would be a diaster and a terrbile look for the NCAA.

Not sure. I don't follow ann arbor football. But this is bad look for the program. The before and after stats are insane.
