In my opinion, it was one of the biggest upsets in the history of this rivalry. Michigan had no business winning that game. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t hold much weight anymore when it comes to the playoffs. (Not that I’m against the expanded playoffs. It will make it easier for Michigan to make the playoffs in the future)

What makes Michigan’s championship season more impressive than Ohio’s this year is simple: they were perfect. Going undefeated is incredibly difficult in today’s college football.

Also, Michigan beat their biggest rival in their championship run.

Absolutely that’s all we got. It was a rough season for Michigan. One of the worst teams we’ve had in a long time. That’s what makes the victory in Columbia so sweet.

It’s really the only thing we have over Ohio this year! (And the last 4 years)

I imagine, unless much of your team leaves for the NFL, Ohio will be the favorite in Ann Arbor again next year. So this thread should die in November.

I also agree that last season was pretty awesome. Hopefully it won’t take 74 years for the next, but you never know.

Michigan had the better game plan this year. Moore coached them to win IMO where Day tried to coach Ohio State to not lose. And IMO, that game plan never wins. Stick with what works.
