I apologize to Chalamet. I thought he was a moron and calling for a timeout while the Knicks were trying to inbound the ball before the play was challenged. You can read his lips and he was saying "T him up"

The result of last nights game is excactly the reason why Thibs will be fired

They gave up too much and brought in big names not to lose in this manner, its embarrassing to all of Knick fans and the city..

The free throw misses, the lack of any sense that Thibs has a clue on clock mgmt, OG’s absolute brain farts are on him, YES! It’s on him, the players have to know they can’t make these kind of mistakes in game with such magnitude. There has to be accountability for this

And either OG is on somethin or the man is missin somethin upstairs. He blew a lay up for an easy 2 and had a ball put right in his hands lost control of the ball what would have been an easy 2 at a point in the game that would have decided game

Very happy for the pacers and their fans, they truly are having a magical season.

I think no matter what the Knicks do, the pacers are goin top it

And , what happened to the defense some of you praise Thibs for?

If Nesmith goes just 7 of 9 3-pointers the Knicks win. You can "if" your way to anything but he was ridiculous.

I doubt he has play calls for his guys to miss shots plus you could really go nuts and credit the other team. Especially Nesmith who couldn't miss anything if he wanted to.

I just rewatched the 4th and OT. There was a million things that went Indiana's way, outside of that nearly 100% 3 point shooting by Nesmith

1) Two Knicks players each missed a free throw under a minute left. One was an over 90% FT shooter

2) Knicks decided to foul vs play out the last 15 seconds up 3. At worst they would have got the final shot to win if they didn't intentionally foul

3) Knicks were up 4 in OT and stole the ball and the refs missed a clear goal tend to put the Knicks up 6 with 2 minutes left. Next play Indy hits a 3. Thibs had already wasted and lost his challenge earlier in the game lol

4) Indiana is just very lucky. You need lucky breaks to win in the playoffs for any team, but i have never seen a team get every lucky break in multiple close games in multiple series. It's impressive tbh

Basketball gods want Indiana to win, nothing you can do about it

and didn't even mention the brick thrown up by Haliburton that flew up 10 feet in air and came down right through the hoop.

That late replay that saw Brunson touch the ball last before it went OB is one that would have been NY ball 100% of the time in the old days before replay. That always used to go to the team on offense when the defender slaps it away and OB. I think Reggie Miller even said he's glad they didn't have replay assist when he was playing.

Yeah, i think the game is a lot better in general because of the challenges. They are very stingy with the challenges, i would prefer they get more calls right vs you just run out. I get they don't want to slow the game down, but maybe they could fast track certain calls like the NFL does.

Overall, it seems like the games are much better tho, because as you said they always got those calls wrong in the past. Jordan with his famous push off would have been called lol

Would you like to bet on if Thibs will be fired? Because he won’t be.

Ok so we need to see if the Knicks lose then we can bet because he’s not getting fired even if they lose

He’s already gone , last night solidified it

Only way he stays is winning it all, and that ain’t happenin UNLESS they bounce back from last nite, which is very unlikely. 2 years in row ya get knocked off by the pacers , And you think he stays? lol

Will stick with what I thought before last night......NY in 7.

But wow that had to be a rough one for NY fans.

All I know is I am really looking forward to watching the rest of this series.

This outcome reminded me of game 2 in Cleveland.

Knicks had complete control until they didn’t.

3rd time Pacers did this as Bucks had them in their game 6, too.

I’m not going to say it is impossible that he gets fired, because there could be behind the scenes issues with management. He has been there awhile.

But it isn’t likely. And if he does get fired it won’t be because of job performance.

Knicks have already overachieved.

Everything else is gravy.
