Frankly it's embarrassing when I see these modern day bigs getting clamped by guys they should be dominating. Havlicek and Pippen were great defenders, but can you picture them clamping Wilt or Shaq respectively?

Dennis Rodman did.

And he is much smaller than Shaq.

And like I said, Caruso isn’t guarding him in the paint.

It was more of a zone scheme that wouldn’t have been legal in Shaq’s era.

Shout out to Denver. They are champions and they did what champions do and that is make things damn hard. They did the Thunder a huge favor by putting them in positions they haven’t been in. Now that the Thunder are in uncharted territory I am hopeful they will relax a little and be more themselves. This is getting real.

Also loved hearing the national crew give so much time to talk about the Thunder crowd. It was said that it is one of the best crowds in all of sport. People that have never experienced a college atmosphere can’t understand, but things get pretty crazy in that arena.

Which is why you’re scared to go to games

Daugneault with some good stuff at the presser. Said there aren’t many times when you wake up that you know you are going to remember this game the rest of your life. Then he went on to talk about how proud he was of the team after going down 2 games to 1. He says it’s a tough pill to swallow knowing you have led in 132 of the 149 minute but are down 2-1.

I'll talk about the Nuggets later but for now I'll just go ahead and say it... The better team clearly won.

Congrats to the Oklahoma City Thunder on making the Western Conference Finals.

Congrats to the Thunder. Great young team with a very bright future. Go win that NBA title!

As for the Nuggets, they need to solidify their coaching situation. Seems like some of the players would like to see Adelman stick around. Really need to build a better team around Jokic in his prime. They need to try to move MPJ but he has 2 years and 80 million left on his deal. Will be tough to find any takers. Murray has been very inconsistent and injury prone but his contract will probably prevent them from moving him. It's a shame that Denver hasn't been able to build a deeper, more talented roster. Really not much draft capital either in the next few years. Big off season for the Nuggz.

Don't know the teams money situation but could they at least upgrade the bench?
